Hello everyone. Today I want to show you how to make a macrame turtle.
You will need cords 3mm thick:
- 6 cords100 cm/40 inch
- one ring

Made this tonight but ran out of cord on 4 strands 🤔 Also mine didn't make such a neat diamond middle so when I did the edges, it curled up cos I had to pull it tight to close the gaps. Will try again! Thanks for the video, easy to follow. X

@@macramearttutorial4645 Guten Morgen, ich würde diese Schildkröte gerne größer machen, also mit 5mm Garn. Wie kann ich die Länge der Stränge berechnen, da wir ja 1m nicht reichen... 🤔Vielen Dank schon mal 😃

Das ist schwer zu berechnen. Wenn der Faden steif ist, ist der Verbrauch groß. Versuchen Sie, die Gewindegröße um das Zweifache zu erhöhen. Ich hoffe, das ist genug.

A lovely little turtle, but it would help to use either a coloured cord or coloured background as I found it difficult to identify which cord was being used

You are probably right, I will try using colored cords.
This is the cutest lil macrame turtle! I just made mine and love it so much, thank you for the tutorial ❤️ also I did cut my strings longer due to the comments and it was perfect! 🐢 🥰

Per questo prodotto ho utilizzato un cordoncino di cotone da 3 mm.

Here the ring is not required. You may not use it. If you want to hang the turtle as a keychain, you can use string instead of a ring.
