This macrame tutorial is on how to make a tassel. It's very easy to do, so this is macrame for beginners. You can use twine, yarn or macrame cord that you can loosen with a needle, or even a strips of fabric. You can decorate a macrame wall hanging with such tassels, you can make a garland or a macrame keychain.

Thank you for this video! I've watched several, and gone through a few written tutorials, but I've never gotten the hang of tassels. I appreciate the simple demonstration, and thank you for not making it 25 minutes long like some of the other ones ;)

4 mm single strand twisted cord (you can use also 3 strand twisted cord)

Hi! I use a local manufactured cord. Use any 3-4-5mm single strand twisted cord. You can even use yarn to make tassels

Hallo! Ik gebruik enkelstrengs gedraaid koord. Dit kan ook met normaal garen, in dat geval moeten er veel losse stukjes garen worden afgeknipt.
