A very nice gift for Xmas If I wanna mak a bigger one, what size of cords I must use? Maybe these one can be good? - 3 cords 150 cm length (3 mm thick) - 2 cords 140 cm length (3 mm thick) - 2 cords 120 cm length (3 mm thick) - 2 cords 100 cm length (3 mm thick) - 2 cords 80 cm length (3 mm thick) - 2 cords 60 cm length (3 mm thick) - 1 cord 30 cm length (3 mm thick)

Yes, the length of the cords should be increased. Add 10 or 20 cm to the length of the cords.

Доброго дня! Подскажите, пожалуйста, почему мне могло не хватить длины? Не могу даже доделать последний ряд. Длину брала ровно ту, что указана в описании.

Очень жаль, что так вышло. Все нити по-разному усаживаются. У меня взят хлопковый шпагат, он мягкий. Наверное у вас твердая нить, поэтому расход больше. В следующий раз для мягких нитей буду указывать размер с запасом

Все зависит от толщины нити и ещё от плетения, многие сильно затягивают. От этого расход тоже бывает больше.

И ещё. Длина нити берётся приблизительно в 6-8 раз длиннее изделия.

You can use 1mm thread, but it will be small. Suitable for pendant or earrings. Reduce the length of the threads by about 5-10 cm.
