To say I’m in love with this macrame beach dress is an understatement. I got to wear this dress a lot on my sun holidays in Feb and I loooved wearing her. We don’t get weather like that too often here in Ireland haha.
For this dress I am using 5mm braided rope from Bobbiny.
You will need approximately 200 meters.
The reason I say approximately is because the exact amount of rope needed will depend on your own size. For my size I used 190 meters total, but I recommend to have 200 meters (or more) for this just in case you require additional ropes.
Rope measurements:
4 x 190cm
2 x 180cm
4 x 160cm
12 x 150cm
8 x 130cm
2 x 200cm
skirt: 70 x 200cm

Mirado de las técnicas del macramé , es la ,enorme que he visto , sin desmeritar el trabajo de las otras que he visto , pero va bien explicita y con paciencia mostrando la técnica para el que desee hacerlo , le sea más fácil de realizar, sin necesidad de hablar le comprendí felicidades .

Hiya, this is beautiful. Out of interest, what dress size (uk) did this make? I don’t have a mannequin, do you think it could be done using a hanger? it’s so lovely xx

Thank you 💕 The mannequin I have is a UK size 8/10, but it’s in the smaller sizs. In the tutorial I do show how to make the top bigger if need be by adding extra ropes and rows, you can easily adapt this to fit your own size and same for the skirt portion. It can definitely be made without a mannequin, but it’s a lot easier to have it hanging+pinned down at the same time. Good luck with it 💕 Love to see your photos when it’s finished xx
