After listing to Macklemores music for so many years I realized that this man doesn’t have one bad song, like some songs are objectively bad but for Macklemore you may not like it but I’m sure others do, it’s amazing the amount of banger this man has made.

I LOVE Macklemore! He makes me laugh and cry. I hope he never stops! I love this kid! I say kid cause he's a year younger than my oldest. I know that I have watched this video at least twice a day since it was in my recommendations. I admit that I never understood rap music until my son told me about it. I like a lot of the older stuff as it's all new to me. It's poetry with a beat. It's so pure and if you listen it will lift you up or break your heart. I think a lot of people are definitely unhealthily obsessive over artists and other famous figures, but that isn’t this. That’s why I put “share you” in quotes, because it’s a sentiment that I no longer hold because I grew up and value his success and the exposure of his messages over whatever weird innate desire I had to feel original/ hipster/ whatever word you want to use.

So wicked! Love the old school vibe with the video; the concept gives me "Hey Ya" by OutKast vibes. But yeah, the beat, the lyrics, everything is just great. My 5 year old is obsessed with this Video. She will not let me stop playing it. She says "He has such a sparkly shirt I love it!" and "WOW GREAT MOVES!" You could sing literally anything and as long as the video has this energy, where everyone is just exuding joy and fun...she'd ask me to put it on repeat like her life depended on it, I am sure! Mama doesn't mind though, this song brings such great energy...even my 13 year old can be caught shaking his hips to it while he does chores, or adding it to the morning playlist ( for the fourth time, so it cycles through more than any song we have on there ) for our drive to their school. Seriously, our whole family appreciates and enjoys it so much, thank you for making it!
