Mack Hollins : NFL Star, Aspiring AMP grazer! - Notes From The Hometown Roadshow
Ғылым және технология
When our team started their research over a decade ago, Peter probably didn’t expect he’d be discussing adaptive multi-paddock grazing with NFL stars!
But that’s the power of soil health - this movement brings people together from every walk of life. At the end of the day, we all want nutritious food raised by prosperous farmers to feed thriving communities.
That’s why Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver Mack Hollins has decided to take on a former peanut farm in Georgia and heal soils that have been badly damaged by industrial agriculture.
And that’s why we made “Roots So Deep (you can see the devil down there)” - to spread the word about the power of soil health.
Have someone in your life you’d like to invite to the party? We think our new four-part series is a great introduction! Check it out at rootssodeep.org

Beef heals the body, cattle heal the land!
What? The barefoot assassin is into regenerative AG? That's awesome!
Great conversation. More people seeing the value in regenerative farming. Definitely try that football thing. Or just create one on the acreage there that you have.
First of all Western New Yorker, born and bread. Go Bills. I’m sitting at a friends house explaining to him about this series as he is planing to start raising cattle. Thank you much.

Love to hear it! If he's interested point him towards Greg Judy / Soil Health Academy for more practical information too!
Hey Peter awesome interview!! We are in Georgia and I know Mack is as well. If he's anywhere around Augusta, We'd love to show him how our farm is transforming since we started amp grazing. Same with you guys if you're in Georgia, we'd love to have you guys stop by! Neelyfarms regenerative land and cattle. These practices can work in Georgia just like anywhere else. Thank you for getting the word out!

@@carboncowboys awesome! I'll get in touch, thanks
Beautiful!❤ such a nice interview. Just 20 mins in.
Great interview. Loved it. I watched the short for this, i was hoping there was more. Thank you. I hope there'll be a follow-up on how he develops his peanut field. I'd leave the tree's (harvest the dead one's), but the cow's can benefit from that too.
"The phone is always listening. " We say it so nonchalantly. It should frighten us.
I love the AMP movement.
This was so cool to watch
Good interview. Regenerative agriculture is the way.
You also have to remember the big money that runs college and pro sports are also tied directly to the world that actively is creating the whole problem in the first place. Think of all the advertising dollars in processed foods and destructive habits that fuel pro sports etc. Now imagine what would happen if pro sports were to teach nutrition and the wrongs of the current system. They would be directly taking money out of their own pockets.
