I remember watch my elementary school art teacher showing us this game on a projector back in 2009... it truly felt like a life time ago.

Look up "The Black Cap Brotherhood". It's part of the OST and plays when you're around the black cap criminal robots.

I wish we could've seen what happened to the black caps after they got flushed down that hole.

Indeed

I remembered the ending differently. The tall blackhat threw the protagonist robot out of the ship and flew away with the girl whereas you landed right back in the junkyard
