I just realized this is technically in the same universe as Spy Kids. Danny Trejo’s character’s name is Machete in both films. And the guy who said he doesn’t have mercy was the uncle in Spy Kids.

@Harrison Lane hmmm...it was already said in cheap Spaghetti Western television in Italy, Spain and the then yugoslavia (60s & 70s). But it was never said in a movie from a Priest with a pumpgun in the Hand and that made the quote for the young audience ''so cool' and different. Rodriguez and Tarantino are fans & influenced of spaghetti Western.
