Mach Hommy and Roc always fascinate me. They can take the pettiest,stereotypical topic but then add so much layers of poetry and meaning to it. Usually rappers are flat out conscious or just flat out street. It is a breath of fresh air listening to them.

AOTY at this point and definitely classic territory. I think Lon Lon might be my favorite track, along with SUR LE PONT d’Avignon. Georgia Anne Muldrow track was also great, but there’s nothing but dope tracks on here. I hope you find some time to peep the YOD in June, Movie. Gotta get some Ukranian representation on the channel haha. My brother and I have a shared notes app on iCloud to try and transcribe lyrics for this album, a DMCA-proof Genius if you will.

Glad you came out for this one. I’m so glad Mach and Roc Marci dropped their projects at this time when Griselda 3 is in a weird space. Rome is good enough but the original 3 having identity issues. Conway’s SFK is good enough but I have the same issue with the low spots of that jawn as I do with West and Benny last albums. More so Westside Gunn but no disrespect to Conductor because I love his style but it’s like they got rich and fired Daringer. Mach-Hommy and Roc Marciano constantly drop great projects while experimenting with different sounds and at the same time not disappointing their core fan base. I wish GxFR would come back but well done Mach-Hommy. He managed to match G.A.T. with a longer album with features. Good reaction as always! 👍🏾👍🏾

not sure how much you know about Kaytranada, but he’s the guy that produced the title track on this album. he’s Haitian-Canadian, and worked with Hommy before with the track $payforhaiti. Kaytra’s known for his wobbly synths, bouncy drums, and more dance-centric beat making, especially taking after J Dilla’s free-feeling drumwork.

The thing about your reviews is it’s thorough and you give critiques but not in a disrespectful crazy way. And you til saluting the artists creating their art. I wonder how many listens you give an album before you decide to break it down for the community. I felt the same about the hook for richaxxhaitian but after a couple of drives and listening to it in the bigs it has that song of the summer feel and maybe greedo has the freedom to harmonize with the autotune and make it more of a bop even though Mach went stooooooopid. Great album, great review! The rhyming on this project is what really stood out. I've listened to it at least twice a day since it dropped, and while the rhymes get more and more impressive, the beats start to get tiring. I'm hoping he has a few more projects in the bag for the remainder of the year!

earl definitely did a full line rhyme on "Whoa" at least once i could probably find some more in his discography🤔

Great review as always. This album is kind of flawless. Amazing production, incredible features, and for the most part amazing feature. I got this as the AOTY as well with Super Shredder being a close second. I don’t listen to Mach-Hommy on a daily basis but him and Ransom are the top 2 lyricist in the world.
