seeing so much people buying the m1 air now made me realised how good it was when it first launched I was so lucky I bought it in February 2022 for 700 dollars instead of waiting for the m2 air that costs like 1300 :(

You got a good deal then! I didn't realize they still sold the M1 until I was told it was still avaliable and on Apple's website - glad I was able to get one.

I purchased M1 Mac Mini when it first came out. Earlier in the month traded in that device, because I really couldn’t sit at a desk. Caught the M1 MacBook Air on sale at Bestbuy, and I’ve been happier ever since. I’m not a creator, so went with base model, and picked up an on sale Pixel 7 while I was there. Walked out with both devices for less than a M2 Air. 😅. Great unboxing. Best wishes on your creative journey

Beast of an everyday machine!

Just bought one used in mint condition for 500 pounds! A steal! My current asus laptop is very loud and battery lasts 2 hours max. I love windows but I'm giving this a shot for the battery life and lack of fan

I bought the new m2 Macbook air 15 inch but ended up returning it for the M1 macbook air. So far no regrets. Especially for my needs which is just for travel, school, work and some entertainment. Best Buy also has a sale.... brand new M1 macbook air for $749.00. Can't beat this price!!!

Exactly! And from my research before purchasing, reviews were leaning towards the M1 being the better machine. Close to no flaws - so you made a great decision.

Bro i brought macbook Air m1. I noticed one thing that i charged my laptop 97℅and unplugged charging then shut down my laptop next day when i opened my laptop it was 100℅ . Can u tell me why that happened. I don't what to do, i this problem or what?

So whenever you buy a new tech product you always want to give it a full charge fresh out the box. You could have just got a false percentage after unplugging it and it actually did fully charge. In your settings, check the battery performance. As long as it charges fully each time you plug it up you should be good.

I got you, so for me it's a no brainer I would suggest the M1. You are paying an extra $400 + for a slight bump in performance (barely even noticeable) with the newer M2 models. Editing, listening to music, browsing the web, watching videos, build quality, $$$, screen resolution, etc. - it's all here! I would suggest checking out a few videos comparing the 2 but this is my opinion.

I have used a macbook air, but don't use it alot or it will get very hot

Yes - the older ones had that issue, but the M1 version and up have a thermal cooling that resolves that issue. We will see!

@@hairounaempress No overheating, in fact, you can't feel any heat at all. As for the battery, it depends on what you are doing. Web browsing and stuff it can easily last a couple days. If you start editing/doing work, you will see it drain faster, but still a decent 10-15 hours in work mode.

The AirPods sound beautiful with the Mac! You may even be able to pair them to your android too! Quick and easy to set up.
