NOSTALGIA 😍🔥
"Lot's of things can go faster downhill than a track bike, but Burt Munro was a legend because he went real fast on a old custom Indian, not a jet bike. Fun isn't going the fastest, it's going too fast." Justin Henehan - FIXED issue 4
You guys make this look easy. Mad props.
I've been trough a lot of vids but I always come back to this. Totally fresh
I lived in Seattle for ten years. Those shots are not your typical weather. It’s almost always raining. Luv the video!

True , I think that they put a filter in
ive been riding road bikes for a year now and my fixed gear for about 6 months. Im tired of seeing people say that people who ride fixie's are hipsters. To me, people who ride bmx bike's with the seat all the way down, wannabe skater clothes that cant do any tricks and just have it to look cool, are the hipsters. People who ditched their car for a bike, like me, who get from point a to b on a bike in all weather, and who put 50+ miles a week on their bike, are not hipsters. I have a steel frame, neon green with black rims ss/fixie that i have probably put 600+ miles on if not more.

true, tho don't forget that there are a few of us out there who have been at it for over 20yrs, BMX and my bones at this age i wouldn't risk so i mainly cruise, but it's been my life, so are many out there who might be alike. Just the same as fixies don't make hipsters but they have tleast equal amount of people who have it for show too.

Exactly! Tomorrow I have a 10am class and it is going to snow and be in the teens! I have a car but I do not drive it because of reasons. Put around 7-14 miles a day 5 days in a row, not counting having fun on weekends ha, I don't measure that. However tomorrow with snow, great day for some footage! Even if I can't feel my face, makes you feel more alive.

U know the seat of a bmx is designed like that for a reason right? And i have no problem with fixed gear cause i have one myself but they only say its hipster because the gear is fixed and its how the old bikes work before freewheel sprockets

I ditched my car too, for a fixed gear bike. I'm 57 and ain't NO Hipster!!
I like riding all sorts of bikes. BMX, Mountain, Racing, etc. The bicycle community needs to stick together because there are plenty of douchebags out there who try and run us off the road in their cars everyday.

Fixed gears are bikes that have a single gear that is directly attached to the hub and does not coast. You can go uphill and downhill but once your moving you cannot stop pedaling
macaframa the best
Good,,perfect
YES!
where i come from we use old, almost wreck bikes to make fixies...they work properly:) of course when i see one good lookin bike my heart skips a beat:D
style + showing what alleycat you've been at and stuff like that
good times.
Pretty Sweet video
@OxygenMcgee since you skid by leaning on your handlebars, try gradually moving your body away from the handlebars and perform a skid. like at first you start off full on leaning on your handlebars, master that, then try moving away from the handlebars, master that, then in the middle between your seat and handlebars, master that etc. eventually you'll just be able to stand up and skid. it could be your legs maybe they're not buffed out yet just keep practicing they'll come along
there so cool
Agreed, it's not the fixed gear, as I said. But you're right, it's probably also the rider.
I need help on whether I should get risers or bullhorns. I like the way risers look, but bullhorns are so nice for speed. This is for a commute through busy Chicago traffic by the way.
that yellow volvo was cleeeeeeean
Just because they're dangerous doesn't mean people shouldn't and won't ride them. They are really fun.
Sick
you could have just looked down the comment section a bit. it's Sicx & Brotha Lynch hung - For the funk of it Ft. X-Raided
cuz its what they love
This music is despicable
@bchrwc It's ''For the funk of it'' by Sicx & Brotha Lynch Hung ft. X-Raided, real underground gangsta rap from Sactown.
Cool!!
I just saw, "premium Rush" evidently having brakes on a fixe is even more dangerous according to that movie
Nice bikes!
Dope Stuff
Ive been trying so hard to skid while sitting on my chair and its like impissible for me how do u guys do it so easily
cool!!!
For anyone who want to know the name of the song, read the fucking description.
So much hate for the fixies! I ride fixed doing deliveries on a college campus in Houston- where it is completely and utterly flat. Not all fixed riders are bombing hills, running every stop signal and skidding the shit out of every stop. I'll ride weeks sometimes without skidding! It's just plain fun and low maintenance.
@OxygenMcgee its called a whip skid/fish whip/quick stop its a much safer way and more effective way of stoping :)
damn that cdale track
Cause its fun mate :)
sick ass song
Never seen this type of riding before. Looks fun and damn hard! Are those very hard tubeless tires ?
NICE
sick
This video is cool. I wish there were more people in Buffalo, who actually rode and didn't just have an eBay frame, or a target fixie to ride from college to the co op. Ufixdbro?
THIS IS THE FIXIE VIDEO I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!!! FUCKING SICK LADS
Dont let them push you to do things that you dont really enjoy or want. Go out and enjoy life, if you enjoy it riding bikes, then ride your bike. Theres nothing bad with that.
crazy
the guy with the three spokes is wasome
Exactly.
A fixie is often ridden without brakes.. using the pedals to slow down.. This causes the back wheel to skip out and sometimes crash, sometimes the stuttering is so violent that the feet are jerked from the pedals. Both the lack of front brakes and the fixed gear are a cause of accidents, and add huge hills to that mixture... the you have a perfect storm.
Nah its not the HED tri-spoke. but it the front rim where he spins his bar. it seems that his rim has fewer spokes. but thanks man.
desde México "Ni le dan perros" jajajajajajajjajajaja Buenisismo
Fantastic!!!bb
That Cannondale Track doe!
@pullumbosnium it's actually made by Sicx & Brotha Lynch Hung ft. X-raided
NONSENSE I NEVER HAD A LOOK AT THIS !
Greeting from malaysia. Haha. Nice
Fun!
Hello in from 2020
this was exactly a year ago and probably recorded a while back
I wonder how often they break/bend parts. road bikes aren't meant to take much shock and they're landing on the front forks pretty hard.
That dude with the Zipp Disc is lucky as fuck
life is like riding a Fixie you just cant stop =)
90% Of these bikes are so fucking hard to get now it makes me sad. I wish I had a dope cannondale track or pista concept.
