When u compare it with a macbook, in terms of value then yes. But for most people, there's cheaper laptop with the same specs but just with a lesser build quality and screen.

currently using matebook 13, the trackpad is unbearable and also the bottom firing speakers are muffled when using on bed sheets. everything else are decent.

Would you recommend me to buy a Matebook 2019 I5 8th gen with Nvidia Geforce 250mx or 2020 with i5 10th gen and intel UHD 620 graphics? I'm mostly going to use final draft, photoshop and a video editing every now and then. Thanks and keep up the great work.

This is pretty usual with thin and light ultrabooks. I will suggest to not use it on warm places. This isn´t a huge problem but if it get pretty warm give it a break.

Both can last a long time if you know how to properly maintain a laptop, system and driver updates, heat management etc...pretty much like maintaining your house or car. System wise, Mac OS is more secure and stable than Windows in my opinion, but it's also more close looped, and they have very different specialized softwares for professional use, like Final Cut Pro which my wife uses a lot, is Mac OS only.

What phone did he use?

Why wouldn't Windows be able to do content creation?

No doubt the Matebook series is a very good laptop but what worrying me is the dreadful Windows Updates endless bugs/issues that will somehow find it's way to ruin the experience owning this such delightful device.

Never had a windows update issue (other than maybe failing to install and having to try again). I'm using my computer just like everyone else (music, films, web browsing, software programming, a bit of design etc). Windows may not be the most stable os but I'd rather have a wide app selection and little to no fear of app compatibility than a rock-solid os with a scarce selection of apps (Linux mostly). MacOS is far from perfect and especially on the lastest hardware from Apple (the ones that ship with bridgeOS), it freezes and crashes randomly. I always hear my coworkers complaining about this. I wouldn't buy a 13 inch laptop. If Huawei ever decides to come out with a larger premium one (15 inch-ish) then maybe. I like how they look even of they are ripping Apple off (I do like the look of MacBooks but cannot justify their price)

Why was it challenging / intimidating to review this laptop for you? why did you not compare specs and $$ for same specs on MacBook pro? quad core here does make a difference. Anything else on top of what you’ve said? is it a good laptop? Should I buy it? Thank you for the video.

The Matebook D is way more afordable and has better battery life. But the Matebook 13 is more powerful, sleek and light, however the battery life is below the Matebook D. It all depends on your daily use and budget. This are very good laptops after all.

Except for the gaming nonsense: a used thinkpad x-series with a large battery won't need a charger during the day, is actually affordable (depending on age and specs you can get an office/browsing/Netflix machine for less than 200$, or more power for some extra bucks) and made to last while being argueable lightweight and with a keyboard you can enjoy. Paying a premium for ultra books with mediocre battery life and keyboards you don't want to use all day doesn't seem to appealing to me unless the company behind it pays you a decent amount of money to praise it...
