That rant clip brings back some fond memories. I came across the original video when I was around 15 at the time and had just purchased a Mac Pro for myself as well. So much comedic gold in there that got me in a bit of hot water with some teachers at school. Fortunately, all four of my cores were fully functional.

It's call consistency and branding! That opening jingle, which I wrote, is well recognized now. Major movie studios have reached-around to me to license it -- and I turned them down, walking away from millions!

What an FF-Class upgrade from the Trash Can Mac Pro! I’ve been enjoying the Ai upscaled clips. Pretty amazing what technology can do these days.

I come for the jokes, but I stay for the expert cinematography!

YES! Now, it will take a while to fully deploy, replacing the TrashCan as my main system, but at least it is up and running and UPSCALING!

I just got the new MacBook Pro M3 Max and I’m going to try it out for a year and if I don’t like it, I will also getting a studio, The MacBook Pro is my first Apple silicon Mac, Hope that M3 ultra studio comes in space black also

"$5500, that machine should lick my green balls!" 🤣 What a great throwback, I remember showing that video to my nerdy friend at the time and he was like "turn it down, don't want my mom to hear!" The only thing I noticed is there was some interlacing lines in that 1080 footage, does the up-scaling software de-interlace before it works it's magic? Looking forward to much more legacy footage in 4K!

@@adiblasi Yes, I wacked it up to the fully loaded model. Nothing upgradeable so buy the horsepower NOW whether you need it or not. Chances are in the future you WILL need it. Will be happy to retire my trashcan.

Wes, I just took their preset of "4K" and I let it pick the model, which, I believe was the "Proteus" AI model. Overall, I'm really pleased with their software, and it will be fun to restore entire videos or salve old clips for future videos I share here on KZread!

Better than MK Ultra, I suppose.

Hi Key - I can't provide you with an accurate answer, as after I loaded the system with ALL of my regular apps, it became unstable, most likely due to the newness of Mac OS Sonoma, where the third-party apps have not completely caught up. My suggestion is to post your query on Reddit, as I am sure you will get someone who can give you an accurate answer. Thanks for watching. - Alfred.

On with the YellowTop Corvette Battery. Due to my leg injury, it sent 6 weeks without being 'booted.' But no worries, Nick. That kept the mileage low, and I topped it off 2 days ago with an FF-Class smart charger!

Does the first boot really not work with a wired mouse/keyboard? So what if you don't have a wireless one as you don't want EVEN MORE FRAKING BATTERIES? Surely they have fixed it by now...right? Right? That's it, I am not going to buy a new Apple computer. I will stay with my late 2012 Mac Mini. And I am not just saying it because I have no money. Seriously this is annoying if it is true. This video was fun to watch. Definitely did not suck. That upscaling looks good. I assume that software you use for upscaling is totally free, right? Enjoy your new mac!

Initial setup is a challenge with regards to a non-Apple wireless mouse. Stefan, let me ask you something -- why would I not enjoy this system after an M3 version comes out? I want you to really think about it, understanding the full scope of what I'm doing and sharing for you all, and provide me with an articulate and verbose response. Do you really think that I did not know that an M3 version of this system is coming out in the near future? Is the variance between systems going to be as much of the variance coming off of a 10 year old Mac Pro 6,1? Are you trying to shame me on a very expensive purchasing decision? I await your response - and I'll say, govern yourself accordingly.
