With this being the last song before fan voting began to pick the winner, they made the brilliant tactical move to finally raise the curtain and unleash their "secret weapon" in Mitch. What a great final impression they made before that crucial vote!

I have heard that the producers did not encourage Mitch to stand out but finally in this performance the group literally turned their backs on that and let Mitch shine.

Avi's overtone singing is mind-blowing! Definitely needs a reaction.

I've seen this video so many times - it's my favorite from the series - but this is the first time I actually caught it. Avi is amazing!

If you happen to watch this again on your own, in the beginning of the song Avi does his overtone singing and there is a high whistle-tone going on. There is also a video of him doing this to the lion sleeps tonight.

Deb Houck's Crafty Cottage Shawn actually said just choo choo train and not whistle. Which Kevin is clearly doing in the beginning while Avi is doing his overtone singing. I am surprised the judges never mentioned his overtone singing though since he did it earlier in the season too. Unless they said it and that part got cut out during editing.

Avi was 20 and Kevin was 21, Kevin had just graduated pre med from Yale before Scott called and asked him to be part of Pentatonix for the show.

Actually commenting on your "Imagine" video...in honor of LGBTQ+ month, you should react to Superfruit's Rise (Katy Perry cover) with Mary Lambert, Brian Justin Crum and Mario Jose. But please read their note before watching the vid. They did the song in honor of the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando (which is an LGBTQQ+ club). It's phenomenal!

Big +1 here, an amazing performance and now is a great time to visit it

My favorite PTX performance of all-time! They were all giving it 110% and they nailed it.

I believe Kevin had just turned 23. Avi was 22. Mitch was the youngest - Kirstie and Scott had each had a year of college, while Mitch had had to miss his high school graduation ceremony to audition for _The Sing-Off._

Another idea I'd love to see you do is their return to the Sing Off performances in Season 4 (I Need Your Love) & Season 5 (Holiday Medley). You can see how much they improved after they left the Sing Off, as good as they were on the Sing Off, they really grew professionally in the year or 2 after the Sing Off. You also get to see how happy and excited the judges were for their success after the show and get a taste of their Christmas music which they are famous for the world over. I'm down for the live stream too, though!

Avi and Kevin were about 22 at the time. Scott lost his voice just before he sang this song so he went all out to fight to get the votes. This is the performance as the phone lines opened, all the songs after this is after the phones lines are closed

I loved this performance when I watched the show. From the very first time they sang, I told my BFF that they would win. She didn’t know, but I did. Rare talent all blended together to create magical moments.

I don’t think Scott gets enough credit for this performance! Not to take anything away from Mitch!

And to think: Scott was hoarse and sick during the week, rehearsal was bad and when Scott’s voice cracks towards the end it’s him fighting through the song because his voice is giving out… such determination and professional capability.

I will never stop being amazed by how hard I saw Scott pushing during this performance! Amazing!

Scott has said many times in interviews that this was the perfect song for them at this time bc they really felt it. They wanted to survive. Great reaction. A live stream would be fun I think. This is my favorite performance of the sing off for sure.

Scott is the heart of this group, always has been. To think he was losing his voice as he was singing is Amazing what he did.

Astonishing to think they were only 19 to 20 when they compteted. The series is so much fun to watch as it chronicles their growth as a group.

Avi and kevin had only joined the group like 2-3 weeks before this show!

I agree with you that Video Killed the Radio Star is amazing. It's a bit rougher than later songs, but it was the moment I sat up and took notice of them. (Yes, I am an Old, and I watched the show when it aired.) Maybe it's just because I enjoyed hearing an iconic song from my youth being reworked, but I think it's because there was something really original in the music & performance. I wanted to put in a request/suggestion for Aha at the Star Vista in Singapore. It's a fan video, but the quality is good enough to really enjoy it. It's a total Mituation (albeit with some mind-blowing moments of Avi showing off his deepest notes). They are all amazing, of course (and Kevin IS there; when the video starts he is putting away his cello, and you don't see him in the video because the fan was obviously zeroed in on Mitch), but this is a stunning, powerhouse performance by Mitch. I can't remember the comments on your early videos, you may have already experienced this, but Pentaholics tend to have steong opinions about whether reactors are ready for this video. Personally, I think you are.

I only got to 4:58 as the subscribe button flashing on the left was VERY distracting, apart from that I would have enjoyed it but switched off. If people like your content you ask either at the beginning or the ne for subscriptions not blinking throughout your video. Good luck with your channel.
