Fighting with cancer for 2 years now. Today i got a call from my doctor, the stem cell transplantion isn´t possible. They gave me a maximum of 3 months to live. Today is the best day ever! Make everyday your best day as long as it is possible. See you soon Mac. Our son died on 12.3.2021 - Best day ever was played at his funeral.

I met this girl at work. And she told me Mac Miller music saved her life. She had overcame addiction. Was going back to school. And raising her daughter. She liked to work out too. So I've decided to look into Mac Millers music. Im semi-familiar with Macs story. And i remember the Donald Trump song. But Ive found this song in 2024 and ive been playing it every morning. The intro...makes me feel like ive been a fan of MAC forever.... Cherish every moment that is dear to you. Chase after anything you love. Its okay to feel pain. Mistakes dont define you. They make you into the person you need to become. Live without regret!! Life is sooo short !!!! Rest easy Young Legend. Im glad i found your music!! ❤

I am a 55yr old guy who missed the whole Mac Miller era. Once I finally discovered him he was already gone. To have this much talent at his age is totally mind blowing. Lived my whole life and never found anything that I was this good at. I almost cry every time I hear this track and no matter how much listen to it it is as good if not better than the last time i heard it.The kids of his generation should be so proud that they had him cause I can't imagine going my life and missing out on such a monumentally genius and beautiful tune. It hurts seeing how different he acted as a kid and seeing him now, he reminds of my friend that passed when I was younger. My friend was older than me, he was like older brother, but everyone viewed him as a degenerate because he didn't have a family, had a minimum wage job, and drank a lot, but I was one of the few that understood his struggles and we he was the way he was. It wasn't until he passed where everyone was surprised by what had happened, but I all kept thinking was what were his last thoughts. Was he aware of what was going on? Did he regret everything? Did he think everyone hated him? It just kept eating at me, and it just reminds me of Mac. He's been trying so hard to become sober but it was just too difficult for him, and I wonder if he aware what was happening before right before he passed. Did he think everyone hated him because he's an addict? Did he ever wish to go back to him kid years where he didn't know what addiction or mental illness was? I don't know what were his last thoughts and seeing this vid just makes me feel worse for him.

Maybe this is just a stoned thought but what if this video was his fist and last video explaining what he was feeling and going through knowing that he couldn't bare with it, and we just don't know stuff like this yet well more of the sober people won't get it.but point is what if this is meant to be backwards to give people like me a hint and break it down to explain to the ones that don't see things like I do.
The opening clip of him rapping as a kid is so damn cute. I bet his family is so happy they have memories like that recorded so they can watch it forever. RIP Mac Miller

I'm 26, Mac and Wiz were my High school party anthem rappers, especially when the weed was around. But now, I have a child in my life, and seeing these home videos of mac and his fam just motivate me to keep taking the pictures and the videos of someone's childhood, cause those are the days you see the PURE spirit of a human. Beautifully said. I've rewatched this for years, been a huge fan and kinda grew up with Mac cus I'm a 92 baby and I always tear up at those childhood videos. The pain hits harder today. It's depressing to see how that pure, unbridled happiness that we have as kids slowly goes away as we age and life gets hard and we get jaded and numb. I wish Mac was still around to get a chance to feel that happiness again. We need to do better for our younger selves, and do more for the people in our lives right now who need to be checked on, even if they act like they're fine. Rest easy Mac

This song came out just before my graduation, I remember our “wet” grad where everyone gets drunk, we decided to do it out in a forest just out of town, I’ll never forget the end of the night this song playing and looking out with our feet over a cliff and talking about what life is going to be like, a lot of those kids are dead, life is a crazy thing, don’t ever take your life for granted, I’m 28 now and I’ve seen people be taken away, it’s crazy I’m still here, alcoholic and cocaine addict for 7 years, I haven’t gone a day without a drink for 5 years. It finally caught up with me and I am now fixing myself, Mac didn’t get that chance, just like a lot of those kids on the cliff. Talk to people, get out of your safe space and explore life, living fast is fun but living young forever is even better.

do you know that song where in the end of the song they ask the kid about the planets he knows about ? just like the beginning of this song
For me it felt like I knew Mac, one of my best friends was from Pittsburgh and his family moved back there after 8th grade. I was born same year as Mac and seen him twice in concert. Second time I was up front and singing/rapping every word and he kept coming to my side of the stage and rapping along with me. I’ll never forget that. It felt like we were friends, like we understood each other. Like his words were mine, looking back on it now I wish I would have asked big Dave and q to chill with him. He truly was the most dope, can’t wait for the day I get to see the concert in the sky. Love and miss you Mac. 92 till infinity!
When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you 💝
This song came out my first year in the Marine Corps. Me and my buddies use to listen to this when we were having a bad day and it always helped. My best friend in the corps absolutely loved Mac and was always the first to play him when down. My friend died at the age of 26 and now Mac just died at age 26 as well. This song means a lot to me and holds great and sad memories. R.I.P Mac!!

12 years later and what used to be a song that made me happy and helped me start the day motivated, now its a song that brings me back all those good memories from when I first listened to this song and being someone that suffers from addiction, thinking what mac probably went through just makes me feel sad. There are so many things that people have to suffer each day, that we don't know, so just be respectfull and kind to everyone, pay attention to the things they say without even talking and don't forget to look out for your loved ones
Damn this video is hard to watch now. He was so happy and young. RIP Mac.

I often reminisce on my high school days when i listen to Mac’s early music. Wiz too. They defined an era for me. Smoking weed, doing dumb stuff with my friends. Being a lifeguard. Failing miserably at talking to girls. I wish i could do it all again. No matter how good my life gets, I would drop everything in an instant to go back and relive it all.
