Brown University Brownian Motion presents our Callahan nominee and star player Mac Hecht. Mac is an incredibly talented player; he’s been the centerpiece of Brown’s system for his entire college career, wielding some of the best technical skills in the division with the athleticism to compliment them. However, what really stands out about Mac is how he manages to bring out the best in his teammates. He studies the game as much as anyone and has an unmatched understanding of how to adjust both his individual play and team-wide schemes to allow all of us to succeed. He constantly demands focus, effort, and competitiveness out of our players, while remaining a kind, goofy, and down-to-earth part of the team dynamic. Mac’s immense contribution to our program, both on and off the field, has been a driving force in BMo’s rise in the past couple years. While the real award that Mac is chasing will always be the national title, no one has had a greater impact on their respective program than Mac has, and there is no one more worthy of the men’s Callahan award than him.

The guy's like the Luka Doncic of men's college ultimate. He's not that fast but he seems like he's in control of the pace. His athleticism is more than sufficient too for those layouts. Mac has the Callahan award this 2020 for sure.
His celebrations are so wholesome.

He was a counselor when I was at NUTC and he’s a genuinely nice guy and a great person in general. Also didn’t realize he was this good at frisbee until now.
This dude's an animal... Great movement and throws as a handler, amazing pressure D, and is clearly willing to put his body on the line. Hard to argue with him winning it

@@ParhelionMedia It looks like he's hugging him, but if you look closely you can see that his arm is actually extended towards the thrower and not around his mark.
Dope video. forehands, check. backhands, check. catches, check. D? check. conservation of greatness? doesn't apply. Good attitude? check. I don't know why his HS coaches didn't put him on the A team earlier.

I believe he played at Newton North in MA, he played on the BUDA YCC teams for a few years too
