Mac DeMarco has been on a roll the last couple years. Born in Canada and based in Queens, New York, he specializes in a brand of quirky breezy pop that is uniquely his own. He's been especially prolific lately and he joined us at the KCRW studios to play songs from his new EP.

You need to check your sound settings or get yourself a subwoofer. I hear the bass just fine. It's Mac's microphone that's the problem...totally dulled.

Every time I listen to Mac DeMarco's songs, I start crying.I don't even know why, maybe from happiness or maybe from bad memories, but one thing I want to say, Mac DeMarco's songs are beautiful..

i used to not like this song til i saw him perform it live. you can just see the pain on his face when he sings some of these songs man. REAL music
I love this song, it's my favorite by Mac, I especially adore his interpretation in this live, I love how he intones his voice, because I think it sounds like "almost crying" or the desire to cry and it's great that it sounds like that, crying, just like I do...
