He played a show with some of my friends years ago, he came back and stayed at their place and we all just got drunk and chain smoked. Dude is as chill as he appears, great guy and happy to see him succeeding.

In the exterior Mac seems like a goofball but after reading the lyrics he writes we all know he's a very emotional person and that's why his music speaks to you in a deep level.

Cheryl is such a great host, she gives the best compliments, she doesn't lie just to make the guest feel good, she is honest and she knows a lot about music. I wish more shows had hosts like her!

I don't think so. Most of the music on this record revolves around the keys. It especially sounds great when they do one more love song.

Yes there are lots of keys and what not but it doesn't make the song by itself. The drums, bass, guitar and vocals are equally as important.

I don't know what's going on on your end, but the bass and drums come through beautifully, and the vocals are far louder than the keys. it's not exactly as vocals-centric as the album, but still absolutely within the bounds of clarity, though a little more traditionally 'nice'.

The thing I love most about Mac content is the live stuff. Every couple of weeks there's a new and theyre all different. Mac is the only artist that I can listen to every song they've ever made

This is everything I need in a Mac Demarco set. Cheryl Waters, Mac being a lovable goober, groovy toons, and a dude passed out on the floor next to the drums.

I love being able to see these radio shows as well as hear them. We've got Cheryl beaming at Mac, Pierce trying to sleep on the floor, Andy doing his funny faces-everybody in this room is so great.

Been listening to Mac Demarco all week.....that song Brother, very talented

I love his personality, he is just so much fun to watch in interviews, I saw him live a few summers ago with my music producer friend, honestly one of the best performances I've seen, a no bull shit show, he told the P.A guys to stop the light show and just turn up all the lights so he could see the crowd, rare for a musician to do, I wanna throw my friend some love as we've been through a lot together he's heavily influenced by Mac, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Grumpy Days ,you may be in for a surprise and he would love to hear your opinion

I love KEXP and Mac, this video is everything i want from youtube, thank you KEXP for your amazing uploads! Ive been lucky enough to see mac twice live with my music producer friend, the second time at the show in "elephant and castle" we had to break up a fight, a guy who was too drunk or on drugs or whatever kept moshing when no one else was, he kept bumping into everyone around him eventually annoying the wrong group of guys, they kept shouting at each other things like "come on then", eventually a stand off occurred. The group of girls standing behind the whole scene decided to leave because of it, it was very close to the end of the show anyway, the part in Mac's shows where they all swap instruments and do random covers. My friend and I had to jump in-between them and push them apart trying to calm the situation. We ended up staying in that spot having to keep deescalating the situation, they kept turning round and shouting at each other and staring. The bass player even noticed and in-between songs said "I don't know what has just happened over here" gesturing to our part of the audience. Some people really know how to ruin it for everyone. I wanna throw my friend some love as he's always been a keeper of the peace and we've been through a lot together. He's heavily influenced by Mac Demarco and has just released a new tune, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Grumpy Days, you may be in for a surprise and he would love to hear your opinion

I saw them playing live back in August and it was one of the funniest, enjoyable concert, but at the same time he was amazing at singing even if he was probably wasted. It's one i will always remember, so go see him if you have the chance
