I think this song is about him being in a relationship with a closeted person and eventually people found out, but he lied to protect the closeted partner. He talks about how hard this relationship is and how he feels his youth sliding away with every minute he's together with this person.

hey! i am a gay man from Turkey. I've been involved in queer activism for a very long time. I'm so proud of Mabel! he is a great songwriter, a brave, out queer person who is out and unabashedly so in a very difficult time in turkey. in the 2000s we were out on the streets protesting everyday. we started organizing pride marches in Istanbul in 2003 and the one in 2014 was with 100 thousand people. as one person stated in the comments, karakol was banned from televisions in turkey. but mabel, nonetheless, continues to be very very popular here. they cannot stop us! i recommend Melike Şahin, who is a good friend of Mabel. her song "diva yorgun" (the diva is tired) was one of the most popular songs last year and the video is amazing. it's a fun song. she has a beautiful voice and the song was written by Mabel himself. 🙂

i am not a queer person from Turkey and believe it or not i am quite islamic (not in political way just in faith) since i lost my nephew but still i am with all queer people all around the world and i will always (the plan of i is : if god asks me why you stand with them: i am planing to ask why you create them that way although i know i can never win against the god... Never in any topic ... if i ll live the hell i am prefeering it to live with my own humanish faults but i believe in God and islam till the end) ... i love mabel matiz since i like his voice and the way of his singing ...
