is amazing how every time I hear this eq in action it just sounds really clean and on point. In difference to other Eq's that just compromise the phase shift for sound. I have just 6 units in that API LB between API`s preamps , 2 API graphic eq's, 2 Maag EQ4 and an external API 2500 compressor. I dont need anything else .

I have a PREQ4. I rather like it but it's my first high end pre. Any suggestionsfor a good starting point setting for a male vocal track?

eq frequencies really hit real with bass gtr. say a bass gtr around 80hertz will 2nd harmonic is 160hertz then add some sub and the 2.5 fits the bass gtr. to. if he could make the 160 go from 150 to 220 in steps to hit bass gtr. and snare and toms. and the 650 to 525 to hit some thickness of a gtr. and the 2.5 from 2.5 to 5.0. he would have a eq that would rival anything on the market with the sub knob and air ban. and be able to hit all individual instruments. not a bad eq by itself now. cliff I need a job? email me. i can kick some api and trident and ssl butt for you.
