Madhubani Art is one where you’ll always find the canvas full of colors and patterns.
Madhibani Painting, also known as Mithila Painting, is a Traditional form of painting that comes from the Madhubani District of Bihar. Madhubani Art is painted on various auspicious occasions of marriage, festivities, birth, etc.
One can find Madhubani paintings of Radha and Krishna,Ram and Sita, Shiva and Parvati, Maa Durga, Ganesha and other deities. Apart from these religiously themed paintings, Madhubani Paintings are famous for depicting the varied elements of nature, what’s special is that they all have a meaning behind them; Fish symbolises fertility, elephants symbolises strength, power, wisdom, and loyalty, peacock symbolises love, knowledge and romance, trees symbolise long life, lotus symbolises the female gender and so on.
I heard of this art long ago but never tried…this is the first time I am trying my hand in Madhubani art specially for coming Durga Festival, I tried making Maa Durga Face using this Madhubani Art.

Approx how much time did it actually take for you to do this?

It took me around 3 hours to complete this art. once your sketch is ready it'll not take much time to work with markers. 🥰
