    They have it recorded that 4k 60 fps, probably, maybe just a little bit lower quality. They just decided to upload it like that because it's faster to edit and upload or something. Doesn't excuse them, of course, but rest assured, the high quality recordings are somewhere in their servers.

    the high toss serve changed the momentum back to ML. If you watch any of Harimoto's games, it's usually changes like this that gets him to make mistakes. Harimoto is fast and aggressive, but it makes his game rather one dimensional or easy for opponent to exploit him.

    Harimoto screams to release his energy, as he is still very young and excited when playing major events. He is actually very polite, apologising for any net or edge balls and respecting the opponent at the end of a match. All his chos are usually directed to himself or to his coach, never purposely used as a strategy to throw the opponent off. He is aware that his loud chos brings him hate, but he will continue to cho until he grows a bit older and fully matures

  • @stickpagefan978
    @stickpagefan9783 жыл бұрын

    I think at 3 - 1, Harimoto drained all his brain cells from screaming, and Ma Long kept all his brain cells in his head by staying quiet. Then Ma used the same high toss serve strategy and Harimoto fell for it every time. Harimoto was like "I don't have brain cells anymore so I'm just gonna smack hard and scream." Then of course that strategy caused Harimoto to choke even more quickly

    I think this is the best match I've seen so far this year. ML vs FZD in Chinese Nation final was also good, but the intensity of this match was greater. Harimoto did everything right there to make ML uncomfortable. He read ML's serves very well and gave ML very little time on his 3rd ball receive. In past, ML was fast enough to counter and keep it going like FZD does, but it is so much harder for him to do that now since he is slower. It was great to see ML found the way to counter with the high tossed serve. This was an absolute chess game.

    Obviously, when Harimoto was leading the two rounds, he began to appear less concentrated than before, and his physical response was somewhat reduced. Relative to Ma Long, the more he fought, the more braver he was, and the mental, concentration, and physical abilities were better.

    I myself played harimoto style for a year. I can say that timing is especially important for harimoto. With the sudden change in the speed of the ball, harimoto just lost the best timing to accelerate the ball. Harimoto may get used to the change of the speed in other time, but he didn’t have that chance in the match.

    Also, i think that harimoto got a little impatient when he saw his lead was disappearing. This made it more difficult for harimoto to accustom to the change of pace.

    This kid has the abilities of a 25 year old top player but the mentality of a 10 year old amateur player. He should watch this match and learn how the dragon put all his energy and thoughts into the next point and not losing his focus every time he get a point. This is one of the reasons why the dragon has been able to stay on top for so many years.

    I kinda agree. But with your mentality you would lose to harimoto (besides that we all would). Its his human being and he is 1 month younger than me which ismcrazy, looking at the level that he plays. The kid will grow and things will change but i think you have to accept and respect how incredible this kid is. He is 18, i mean simply from another planet.

    @@ps0freak the reason harimoto was winning points was because he placed the ball well, especially out to ML wide forehand. He also blocked consistently waiting for ma Long to make a mistake. In this match, he turned passive into aggressive in just a few moves. This doesn't take up much energy unlike throwing in powerful loops out. Ma long sinply had to inject more energy to overpower TH. Somewhat more he needs to play to the decider. He is also older than TH so he has the better reason to be tired. TH on the other hand should have more energy as a teenager.
