M54 Swapping an E36 Touring - Euro Spec BMW

►Did we get more than we bargained for on this one? Our good friend Jamie Orr had a crazy idea to stray away from his tried and true Volkswagen projects for the beloved BMW E36. Not just any E36, though, a European market BMW E36 Touring-and one in desperate need of an engine swap.
With the help of our very own BMW expert, Gareth Foley, can the team swap in the trusty M54 engine in just a few days, or will everything put up a fight? Watch along in this first episode as we get that old seized motor out of the engine bay and get the car prepped for the new one to go in!

Gareth is the absolute best BMW guide!! Massive thanks to him and the whole FCP Euro crew - who I realise are 80% BMW owners, and had supreme patience and laughs at my constant comparing to VW engineering and wiring and everything else 😂❤❤❤

wth i was watching stuff for my e90 and f30 and just landed on a random new video and Garreth lost a ton of weight I almost did not recognize him. Good job man you look good.

Great to see an e36 swap done right. So many people still think they can only PULL engines instead of DROPPING them.
I want to put a S54 in mine, but the M54 is a very close second. It’s a fantastic engine and would be more than quick enough in an E36.
