The fact that this man is willing to say he would gouge out someone's eyes and rip out their tongue just for whistling at us, and he actually chopped someone's hand off because they were thinking about doing something not nice to us, oddly flatters me. Like knowing they will go to that great of length to make sure I'm safe and giving that big of a message to those who step out of line, just......*blushes* I can't even fathom. Second time through it occurred to me that maybe Listener is walking in the rough part of town to avoid people who might know she's from an immigrant family and accuse her of being a spy. Compared to jail, interrogation, trials, press coverage, suspicion even if acquitted and the blowback on everyone connected to her along with losing her job and being unable to find decent paying work elsewhere....a shortcut through a seedy part of town might seem like the better option. But I'm probably reading way too much into it. This is by far my favorite Whispurr audio to date.

The way he calls the listener "sweetheart" just makes me smile 🥰

this is literally so incredible. I actually fell asleep while he was like warming our ears and then partially woke up to hear him talk to the roomate when she got back and like saying to take care of us. It literally felt like I fell asleep with him there and then I was still kinda asleep when the roomate came back. so amazing!

Listener: *literally just walking* Drama: "Allow us to introduce ourselves." Edit: I keep imagining him doing the Oscar Proud sprint at the beginning and it's absolutely killing me

This is honestly pure gold; in terms of storytelling and acting, brilliant. In terms of unique setting, perfect. The scoundrel with a heart of gold and a rough manner is a great character to work with, but you made him breathe. There's so much life and story here! You effortlessly provide historical details that solidify the setting and bring everything to life. It seems effortless. (I know it's not). Bravo all around!

What I’m mixed what did I do?!

I love how casually you reinforced the setting with period slang and references to real historical events. Very well-written! I want more!

Me: I'm a strong, independent woman. Tough Guy: I'm walking you home cuz it ain't safe. Me: I mean, if you insist... (Ohmygosh, he is a hunk and a half ahhhhhhhhhhh) I just love that he started off being like, "You should avoid me after tonight. I'm no good for you." And then that quickly shifted to kisses and huddling together on her front porch for warmth. He is SMITTEN and he's fooling no one. I really love the concept of the big, scary guy who'd bust someone's face in for even looking funny at this sweet, innocent girl that he wants to protect. That's SO cute and I have many feelings about it. I also loooooove that accent. You sounded great! And I really enjoyed all the period specific lingo you used and the references you made to the time period. I can tell you did your research, which I appreciate! That really helped put me into the setting and lose myself in it. You did good work.

This is quickly becoming my favorite video. I love the immersion, the historical accuracy, the accent, the entire plot and backstory, the asmr part that feels completely natural and not shoehorned in, the continuity of the roommate arriving at the end - this is immaculate.

This character doesn't just need a series, he needs his own channel! I love him so much and I neeeeeed more!!
