I’m bored so I wrote about Listener surviving! When you woke up the light came in through a window, brightening the gray room. And sitting across from your bed, asleep, with bags under his eyes and fresh scars from the coward that tried to kill you. You couldn’t help but smile at seeing him. At that moment the healer quietly walked in. She silently went to the other side of and whispered to you. “Are you feeling alright? I could not heal everything so a lot of your skin is very fragile so you will be bedridden for a long time. I better go and tell the others your awake.” You nod and sue scurries off. Looking at your arms you notice many things changed. Once thick with muscles, some pieces like your hands and left arm is a lighter skin tone than usual, because it’s new skin, new muscles. You will have to do the type of training heroes do if you hope to return to your original form. Finally you look your hospital gown and see the chest wound is also lighter skin color but it’s like a crack in the sidewalk, or a bottomless pit. Your scars are beautiful. And so is his. You once again look at your poor villian and you wish you could cuddle him, but your skin could easily break. In fact you can see your muscles and veins so much easier now. Yet you still look st your lover sleep and think to yourself “I’m going to propose to that man, I must” You smile at the thought. For once everything is going to be okay. Finally. His red eyes open sleepily but after blinking they are wide. You giggle a bit. “Good morning pretty boy.” You say with the same smile he fell in love with… BOOM! THATS IT! THE REST YOU CAN MAKE UP!

They have a moment of clarity in their dying moments and make The Villian swear to give up the madness for them. He tearfully agrees as Listener's last guttural breath leaves their body. The audio ends with Villian turning themselves in to the authorities.

I would think that this guy is a part of spider man, Batman or Superman's universe and either one of them could talk to him. Superman: She was so much stronger than any of us... Even me... Don't let her death be in vain... Batman: This wasn't her fault... The best thing you can do now, is work on bettering yourself, for her... You aren't a monster... Just a lonely, loving man... This needs a part 2 where after a couple years, he loses to some new heroes and had to go hiding underground in order to survive and not be caught, and at this time, the listener comes back as a Succubus, causing chaos in the city, as another villainess, and they reunite with him.

As someone who is a hard cookie and never cried to any audio I didnt cry. I SOBBED THIS WAS HARD TO LISTEN TO😩

I'm upset that there isn't a part two, so I wrote my own where we freaking survive, because my heart broke when I heard him cry. **As Finn cradled you in his arms, sensing it was almost the end for his dearest love, he quickly scooped you up, supporting their head on his broad shoulder. He rushed through the rubble, clutching Listener tightly in his arms as he kept his footing amongst the chaos and debris. He refused to lose his love, he refused to let them die. He ran through the streets, gasping for air, but determined to keep going. His lungs burned as the need for oxygen became more apparent. As Listener faded in and out of consciousness, their world becoming blurry and distorted. Finn burst through the healer's door, rushing towards the backroom where his friend usually stayed, Listener unconscious in his arms. The healer gawked at the both of you, but quickly regained his composure, taking in their injuries. Finn begged the man to heal them, laying Listener gently on the table. The healer got to work, grabbing elixirs, potions, an IV, and various medication and bandages. He worked feverishly, glancing at Finn every so often. Finn stared down at Listener, clutching their hand, a look of distraught that the healer had never seen before on the young man's face. He worked even harder, doing whatever he could to keep their heart beating. He started a transfusion, trying to replace the blood they had lost. After tireless hours had passed, he finally finished. He had done all he could. Listener was hooked onto several machines, a constant beep indicating that their heart was still beating. Finn's look of distraught only worsened as he looked at their fragile state. It looked as though the slightest amount of pressure would shatter their very being. The healer sighed, mopping his forehead with a damp rag.** *"Finn, all we can do is wait for them to regain consciousness. Get some rest."* **Finn refused, shaking his head. He gently clutched Listener's hand, gazing down at their face. He wouldn't leave your side until he was positive you were going to be alright. The healer sighed, and brought Finn the comfiest chair he could find, and set it up for Finn, right by Listener's head. Finn sat, his gaze still intent on their bandaged face. Over the next few days, Finn remained by their side as they remained unconscious. It was that evening Listener began to stir. Finn practically leapt from his chair, but didn't dare touch them, fearing that they would break at the slightest touch. He gripped the bed Listener laid on, carefully watching their face as they slowly but surely awoke. Finally...they opened their eyes.** I've never done anything like this, but I really wanted Listener to survive, the precious bean needed to have his love. 😤
