i haven't been to the theaters in so long and haven't been following movie releases but this made me excited to go see movies again :) also i love your energy, you give me such good vibes!!!

another wonderful review, cant wait to see your cosplay!! one thing i noticed was the dance scene had a slower build up in trailer while in the film it jumps right into it, and i prefer the edit from trailers!

I would agree with that, yes! I also wish she danced to the song that’s in the trailers lol “baby dolls kill…don’t provoke us or we will” 👱🏻‍♀️🦾🎀

they could have skipped that Chucky reboot and just gone this route. I support this more than changing the voo doo background of Chucky. Could they set this in the Terminator Universe? A totally new story in that universe that has nothing to do with time travel or the Conners.

Oh this is on my List,can't wait🤩👌🏼

Great review Lauren! The trailer was weak to me where I was indifferent ( Ex Machina fan) but rolling out of bed to catch M3GAN surprised me so much; her attitude lil fresh mouth girl need a good pop 🤣, the scene with the bully and the two songs Titanium and Toy Soldiers are stuck in my head. I might play them while on a dj gig. I'm ready for this little AI terror again M3GAN set the tone for horror in 2023.

M3gan is exactly what the child’s play remake tried to be. I thought it was really well done.

I had some fun with this movie, but not to the extend I’ve seen a lot of people express online. I didn’t think it was that funny and I felt the characters were kinda boring and story was filled with illogical moments. That said, Megan herself was awesome and anytime she was on screen I was having fun with the movie. Overall, it was a decent little thriller to kick off the year with.

That’s fair! As I say in my review, I was mostly psyched for M3GAN herself, so any scene she was in made me happy. I’m hoping the sequel will only get better with the characters and story too!

Honestly I was a tad disappointed with the movie. It was good however I gave it a 3.5/5 because despite the great acting and script I felt like the humor wasn't really there for me and became more of a suspenseful thriller for me and kind of left me unsatisfied. As a stand-alone film it's fine but with a sequel already announced I feel like it's too early and don't think they will come close to matching the hype of this movie's trailer

If it is done right and rushed out too fast. I loved the movie as well and hope it does go to be a successful franchise. ✌

I'm hoping this movie lives up to the hype.
