I remember watching WWII documentarys back in high school and being so fascinated with history and what has happened, only to eventually get into the hobby and now start to own items that were made and used during the hole area.. it's a joy and it's insane to think what history the helmets and items have seen.. if only they could talk.
I'm currently painting a batch of Fallschirmjager from Artizan Designs depicting FJR 6. This video was instrumental in helping me get the helmet camouflage correct. Subbed.

me too! An original Fallschirmjäger helmet is definitely on my militaria bucket list!
Lovely FJ6 'Normandy ' Camo Para Helmets Sander. Would be great to create a video describing all the ways to authenticate a real WW2 helmet, from the legion of repro and fake helmets out there in the market. I have learnt a lot about this, but the collecting hobby is a minefield unless you learn what to look for.
