Tomorrow June 6th will be the anniversary of D-Day. My Grandfather and Grandmother both served in the United States Military during World War II. They were two of the most hardworking and honest people I have ever met. The Greatest Generation is mostly no longer with us but it is important to remember their sacrifices and their stories. There are a lot of great books out there and I encourage you over the summer to pick one up and read it. If you need help with a suggestion, I would recommend Adam Makos's Spearhead for you tank guys or Higher Call for aviation folks. Both are tremendous stories that I think you would enjoy, as well as a great way to remember that generation. Let us know what your favorite World War II book is and would you recommend it? I am always looking to add to my library.

War stories of D-Day is a good book, it's a huge collection of First hand accounts From the boys who went ashore that faithful day to the Rangers Who landed at point Hu doc, to the Paratroopers who dropped into German occupied France

except Rescue One itself, then they have had to rely on Rescue Two and Rescue Three.
HARA Tameichi's book Destroyer Captain is a great read if you want to learn what a Japanese Line Officer's view of the war was like. An absolutely fantastic read for what the Naval war in the Pacific was like. EDIT: Still waiting for the Midwestern Adventures of Stick and Jim.

Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors is a great book telling the stories of the Battles of Surigao Strait and the Battle off Samar later on the same day. Being a naval enthusiast, this book is an amazing read, and I highly recommend picking it up

For books on World War II, I recommend the booklet called "Hoel and Kongo off Samar: At Rest, 4,000 Fathoms Under the Waves USS Hoel DD-533." It's an amazing account and history of the surviving sailors of the Hoel. It is difficult to find, though. I got a copy from Bob DeSpain before he passed. He was sailor on the USS Hoel when Taffy 3 went up against the Japanese Center Force on October 25, 1944.
I'm always felt like the Slugger was one of the most under appreciated machines when I played. But seeing the B2 in the game finally is nice, even if I don't play the game anymore. Always nice to see you upload
This video was so much fun!! What a great cast of comedic chaos causing comrades you gathered for this video!! And a great demonstration of one of my favorite tank destroyers in the game! Epic job, everyone!
I have always had a love for the M36 in every tank game. Thanks for playing it today bo!
The way the all said "plane, plane, plane" is like the seagull in finding nemo "mine, mine, mine" 😂😂😂
Love the chaos that Sturmling and Stick brought. When those two are together you gotta get down with the madness
Hahahah, Jim "You are the antagonist in those DARE ads"
Another great book is called War Pilot by Richard Kirkland I think. Was a P38 pilot and flew on the wing of lindenburg when he developed the range extension that let them kill Yamato and then went on to fly helicopter in Korea is a damn good book.
Awesome Stuff as always guys.
Rescue one saves the day again! That was an amazing kill btw, that VK had the bratwurst scared out of him xD
Hey Bo, love the videos, keep em rolling. I had a grandfather who served on D Day and was a pilot of a C 47 sky train (I think thats the name) for the 82nd airborne division. The plane was shot down and he sadly couldn't get out in time and died along with the plane. Thank you for making me laugh every in every video, keep up the good job
Great video today Bo! Quite a fun one today.
Yes!!! Finally they play this beast!
The Locust Rescue 1 adventures are my favorite Bo Times
The bridge.of love. Triggered me to start singing chappel of love.

this one was a blast! So many TBLF members in this one Cheers to Hame, Sturms, Jim, Stick and Thor!
"OH, there's a Panther back there." "A-WHA?!"
Great job, my boys! 💜 thank you Bo, Stick, Thor, Jim and Sturmling!
Awesome video!!
Amazing video!
Sounded like a flock of frightened seagulls there for a bit "Plane,plane..plane,plane,plane"
That fact that I open KZread and see you released this video 16 minutes ago and my reaction was like: YES…MORE CAOS!
If Ham is Donkey, all he needs is to team up with a SAAB 35 and there will be adorable abominations without plausible deniability...🤣
0:48 that’s some good shootin Tex. Daddy Phly would be proud.
This video popped up again after I watched the newest one, when panic sets in during most sessions I hear the seagulls from finding nemo, anyone else?
Stickboy with the absolute sigma moment saving Bo. Well done sir.
Hello Bo you make me happy when you upload so thank you
Thanks for yet an awesome video Bo and crew ❤ My books are all in Norwegian, and I have no idea if any of them are available in English.
...and we are going to scout with our face. Sturmling, common eara 2023.
Bo, never underestimate the pumas they are deadly bonsai creatures that can’t die fast enough. The only thing that stops them is a aphe shell to the turret ring.
I do have to wonder what that panzer IV was thinking. Maybe something along the lines of "I should push a notoriously the fast flanker tank in my casemate that's 1.3 BRs below it"
I probably would have told you that other Tank Destroyers are on Back Order when you asked for another one lol
*Begin Transmission* Day 41. Keeping the theme of this storytelling, here is what I’ve got. 79 years ago tomorrow, began the grandest military invasion operation the world has ever seen. More than 5,000 ships, thousands of aircraft, hundreds of tanks and armored vehicles, and more then 250,000 men took part in storming the beaches of Normandy. Among them was an ancestor of mine. His name was Joseph Montgomery Holland. He was a Tank Commander in the 746th Tank Battalion, which landed at Utah Beach on D-Day. Unfortunately, like countless other comrades, Joseph did not make it far past the invasion. He was killed when his tank was knocked out on June 10th, 1944 (D-Day +4), most likely by a German PaK gun or by a Panzerfaust. There are numerous other ancestors on both sides of the battle who did not make it far after the invasion. And I hope we all can remember their losses today with compassion, condolence, and a hope for a better future. Remember. The past teaches us lessons in the present, so we don’t make the same mistakes in the future. What ancestral story do you have? *End Transmission*
That bonb fuse was 7 seconds. I occasionally set 8 or 10 second delays to confuse the targets. So, I know where that pilot is coming from.
@khannaraha8817
Жыл бұрын
Do you normally use that level of delay from ground level drops though?
@pauld6967
Жыл бұрын
@@khannaraha8817 Yes. From treetop height, from 3,000 feet and even when I do a strategic bombing run at or above 20,000 feet. Of course, just for variety, I will also sometimes use the assault fuse setting and 1 or 2 second delays.
Bo Time Yes!
9:39 regular panthers are easy to kill in a M22 if they’re alone and the VK has less armor, this should be no surprise that the M22 killed it
"More aerodynamic".😂😂😂😂
I can only describe M36B2 as: "Incredibly good for no reason for it whatsoever". I have no idea why is this thing has 5KD ratio for me.
any match with stick is a jolly match
M22 MBT for the win!! the true GOAT in war thunder
i would love to see you guys play the A.C. 4 its a great tank
"I'm dating a Panther!" --- At least it wasn't a Cougar.
I mean Bo is good, even excellent from time to time, it’s just a pity he’s so needy… Sturms kicked ass and made the enemy crumble in fear!
I can only imagine how pissed that VK 3002 was
Every time Bo says something along the lines of “trust me” that coin gets flipped
"Every time he says to one of us 'Trust me' one of us explodes seconds later" And that's why I come here :)
Flanking in a Jackson, honestly not what I expected to see today
90mm go bonk
Was that a hambone!? Where has he been all this time. Come to think of it, where is Mike at? Or Bear?
I would like to see a video on the a-4 Skyhawk i think it would be a good one
12:43 Bo you shot him right in the Texas!
i kinda wanna play this tank now
That 7 great great grandfather and uncles(5 airforce , 1army, 1 navy) serve during WWII. 4 of the 5 air force died as pilots and gunners in a b17s. The 5th was shotdown and was rescued by the french resistance. My gggf was in the army, saw action on june 6th and was placed state sisde when trench foot got him in battle of the bulge. The gggu in the navy was mia for like 6 months before the navy happened to find him on a random patrol was my understanding. There would have been an 8th be he was a year to young
I wonder, how does the TBLF clan drive their tanks? keyboard controls or combined controls? I play with keyboard for throttle control while I use a set of pedals for steering... totally gives you the ability to *slowly creep forward or backwards* without actual throttle input
"The guns didn't elevate quick enough!" Perhaps that Duster was a little...dusty. It's ok, I'll see myself out.
7:21 ah yes shriek.
Ya'll yelling plane plane plane sounded like the seagulls in nemo saying mine mine mine
0:30 So true. 😂
You and the boys should do a He51 10kg bomb challenge using the 10sec fuse delay😉
Nice
They sound like the pelicans from nemo at 5:40.
Why is the M18 GMC in the American tech line set on br 5.7, while some m18 on other countries on br 4.7??

M4A2 (76) W > M4A3 (76) W It has better turret traverse and speed. The APCR is practically useless unless you get uptiered to fight king tigers.

Can you do M18 please
waht thoes tglf mean couse i wanna join your clan or waht that is pls tell me
Esesiest way to kill a tiger 2 is shooting the ammo at the back of the turret
