Get rid of my M1 for a Space Black M3 makes zero sense! If u don’t go with the M3 max then don’t even bother! Don’t be conned by Apple convincing you that live will get better after u buy the latest version of their products. Their products are great so keep them as long as u can. They also give terrible trade in value. Best decision I made getting my M1 Pro- I got 32gb and 2TB. This definitely helped me making the decision to skip and other Mx version. I’m good for years to come.

I have the 14" M1 pro 2021 which i had to swap the logic board once (900$)which was damaged while doing the benchmark test and this machine still heats so much, I dont know why and im on the constant fear of damaging the board again if I run on high temp. Such a pain.

That was a fun video, and it's easy for me to agree with you since I have the M1 Pro MBP 14. I bought it from an eBay certified refurbisher last July and it's a beast, and I see no reason to upgrade to an M3. We'll see how I feel when the M4 comes out.

If I don’t have a m1 or m2 and coming from intel which should I buy m3 or refurb m1? I open a lot of tabs for work and Lightroom sometimes

How long is the battery life if you video video edit on it all day? My Windows laptop lasts 1 hour at best 😅and it's slower on battery

@@Codyslx 1. I bought it used 2. Its battery is really small. its a gigabyte g5 gd. My first laptop purchase 😅😅I bought a gigantic power bank to extend the life for 2 hours. But the powerbank takes 6 hours to charge

The M1 Pro was a game changer. Same way I felt with the MacBook Pro 17” (2007)

My 16 inch m1 pro still perfect since jan 2022. No upgrade for the next 5 years

Strange, have had my 14" m1 mbp since 21'' and have yet to run into any major battery issues, especially since I use it mostly for school (CS major) and gaming. I don't see the point in upgrading to an M3 yes if you don't have an m series MacBook.

Apple screwed themselves by giving us too much too soon lol. The M1 really changed the game, and now the differences are incremental.

What about the hdmi port and the ssd card port on the m3. That’s worth something. My MacBook Pro is 2012 and I’m conflicted whether to get the m1 or the m3… Feedback welcome!

eBay has m1 pros for around $1000 2021 device, should be usable until the latter half of the decade if you take care of it.

Get true black textured vinyl sticker. You won't see any fingerprints etc.

Nice vid! Im a student and just cant decide whether I should get the Macbook pro 16 m1 or the Macbook pro 14 m3, they are both the same price on ebay but the m1 comes with 16 gb ram where the m3 comes with 8gb So tough!

do you have a microcenter near you? they sell certified refurbished for much cheaper. They have the 16” with those specs in stock but I’m waiting til they hopefully stock up on the 14” otherwise ill have to get from amazon or get the m2/m3 pro unfortunately

Ranting about 12 h battery life in a laptop is first world problems at its peak. Me looking at you with my Acer Predator latop which can barely last 2 hours - and thinking SERIOUSLY?
