I just bought a Macbook M3 Pro today, upgrading from a 2015 Macbook Pro with an Intel i7 7th gen CPU. I am in love with this laptop. Thank you so much for putting together this great video, it helped a lot in getting my new Macbook setup.

Your trackpad and scrolling settings are exactly what I always do! Even the 3 finger drag. 🙌🏼

Why use 3 fingers? You use 1 finger, press and drag a window... Dont reallt understand why using 3 fingers is better?

I purchased the M3 max MacBook Pro 16" and LOVE how big the screen is and super FAST, yet very thin and light. Thank you for taking time to make this video, I learned a lot. I am new to the MacBook and found all of your tips very helpful. I have been a longtime user of apple iPhone and iPad, and recently started editing video taken on my iPhone using FinalCut Pro, but that software is for apple only, so that was a good excuse to get a MacBook. I did spend a lot, but I figure it's worth the investment because I only buy a new computers about every 5 years and have no patience for slow computers.

Incredibly helpful! I’ve been using a MAC for years and I learned a TON from this video. I only wish I knew this sooner!

I got the Max. I really learned a lot about finder customization and applied much of what you suggested except for iCloud. I organize my family's finances using iCloud drive and sharing. It is the easiest way to have each person submit their documents and receipts to their own, shared folder from which I pick out the docs I need or need to share with them. Subscribing after watching this video.

I just picked up the 2024 Macbook Pro 16 inch with 36 Gigs of Ram and 1TB storage for personal casual use. It is my first ever Macbook and I really enjoy using it daily. First thing I did was to fine tune the Macbook while watching your Tips and Tricks.

Very useful information about Spotlight I didn't know it could do a lot of that stuff, like arithmetic. I also like scrolling through my files because there are often various versions, but do have to search sometimes and I have usually been using the Finder Search function, but that sometimes doesn't bring up what you're looking for, but it seems to be better on my new MacBook M3 Pro Max.

Amazing video, just got a new macbook pro M3 pro after a few years and was rusty. Thanks a lot!

This probably says a lot about how I use my Mac mini but I’m quite happy still using my Late 2014 Intel version with an SSD upgrade and outdated software. Mac’s still aren’t even close to being AAA gaming machines and my 2018 iPad Pro does a stellar job with the games I do play on the go and PS5 Remote Play is flawless on 5G for me.

Thanks for the tips! I got the MacBook Pro M3 Max 16 inch. It made the most sense to me in order to optimize my experience with bigger fans keeping the system running cool and quiet while also maximizing the M3 Max chip capabilities. I’m so glad I didn’t get the 14 inch. The assistants at Apple were adamant about convincing me that the 14 inch would be better because the 16 inch is heavy but it’s not that heavy or big to me. This 16 inch is replacing my old 2013 27 inch iMac. It’s quite powerful, versatile for on the go use and big enough to make me not miss my old screen or feel limited without a second screen. What the Apple assistants either didn’t know or wouldn’t tell me is, the 14 inch M3 Max experience’s higher temperatures causing the system to work harder to optimize its capabilities which means more fan noise as it struggles to keep the system cool during high performance tasks. No regrets with my MacBook Pro M3 Max 16 inch! … although it could have been cheaper XD

thanks for the two very usefull tips i did not knew about first is accesibility tracker/pointer and trackpad scrolling speed this i had no clue about, second is viewing previews with 3 finger tap, rest i knew.

Got my first mac i few days ago and man it’s a learning curve for me. I picked up a 14in MacBook pro 18gb’s ram 512 ssd and love it so far. The screen and the speakers are the best I’ve seen or heard on a laptop plus the battery life is awesome. I still love my 13900hx gaming laptop but battery life not one of its strong suits. It just learning how to do simple things and what option to turn on of off.

I just got a MacPro M3 and I haven't had a new Mac since 2012. I really appreciated your video! You did go a little fast for newbie me but I slowed down the video speed and that resolved haha. If I turned off the cloud for my MAC- could I still access photos thrown up on the cloud from my phone on my MAC? That part I am a little confused on. Thanks for the video it was GREAT! The most helpful tip for me was the 3 finger on my track pad so I can drag things and just have a tap instead of pressing on the track pad.

About to pull the trigger tomorrow. Upgrading from late 2013 MBP that still works and does what I need …just slower 😢 I have to find a use for it b/c it has sentimental value. I swore I would never get a Mac but since I bit the Apple I cannot go back!

Im glad I went with the 14" I was used to a 16". but it became hassle traveling with it.. Let me know if you made the jump.
