Lovely setup. I also just upgraded from the 2013 MacBook Air to the iMac 😊

I just purchased my first iMac ever this same one and the same color and one I love it! Nothing like just sitting down at your desk and it’s just always ready to go, don’t have to worry about plugging a macbook into an external display for a bigger screen, or plugging it in for the battery.

I enjoyed your video, and I think you were wise to remove the stand. It probably would have caused neck strain from being too high.

Honestly, never came to mind. I kind of settled into the idea of having a desktop since I work remotely and to study as well. Not really a fan of laptops for at home use but when I eventually go to law school I have an iPad I can write my notes on.

I have an iPad I could travel with in the future and still using my laptop. But if I didn’t have those things I would honestly commit to a MacBook first.
