A beautiful scene, wonderfully captured in a well-reworked Matchbox diorama which now looks significantly better than the original! The Chaffee is unrivalled in terms of the level of detail and painting. Excellent workmanship. Despite being a scene from the war, the diorama exudes something calming. Great job, Any. I know, but Matchbox didn’t care. Aside from that, I’m not saying this is the Normandy campaign. These guys are just taking their brand new M24 for a test drive in the area. 😂

the directions to Paris on the road sign put it in the Normandy area You’re right Matchbox was following Airfix’s misguided example putting Panthers in Tunisia and Sd Kfz 234/4s as well Don’t worry I still love your work and think you’re a diorama making genius

@@gregdavis8645I’m very pleased to hear it 😊, thank you. Yeah, Matchbox also put a Wespe in Africa with the Africa Corps. Another historical inaccuracy. So this time I was prepared and figured out that the M24 wasn’t in Operation Overlord. So I presented it as a couple of guys driving their brand new Chaffee after the war, who bumped into some friendly kids. The traffic sign just being a reminder of the past. I did hope someone would at least notice, so I didn’t take all that effort for nothing. I’m glad it was you, brother. Cheers, Any.
