after the vss nerf and once the f2000 comes out the m16 line will be a lot more viable. the 60 round mag does help balance the difference in my experience, especially when fighting multiple enemies.

@@MaximumAggro The site exists, but there is information only on the current situation. It is not yet known exactly what will happen after the rebalancing. There is information only from the test server, but it is not yet final. But we can definitely say that the FN 2000 will be a good weapon. By the way, you can test it now. It is in the tutorial at the beginning of the game. It is enough to start a new character and pick up all the weapons. There you can even remove and rearrange attachments from one weapon to another.

Great video! After seeing this I'm glad that I made the decision to not join a subfaction until I feel like I won't be at the Bar much. Having the grind be that much harder is not something I want to deal with. Also, a huge bummer seeing that the Val is going get nerfed after I just finished the grind for it but I just started up a new for the Worn G3A1 so hopefully that won't be too bad.

That will be the next gun I make the purple version of now that I have the AN-94 Abakan done ( the Worn HK G3A1 that is)

I have the worn AN-94 Abakan and the burst has virutally no recoil, perfect for sniping human NPCs in the Pit. If the pink version is anything like the worn version, it's gonna be good lol. nice videos btw dude, keep it up! love all the content.

Yo, got you on my recommended again and I was the guy that told a lot about the scanner way back in that 10 tips video, saw a lot of shit that could of been improved, so I'll start. Only a few since I need to go to work, Your Guns don't need to have 3 lasers, it does jack shit, only 1 laser will increase the stats, the rest are useless and add weight, secondly, stashes are very nice in pickle farming, I suggest you place a stash anywhere at army warehouse, and when you get like 12 pickles from the 4-8 enemy stalkers or bandits, run back to that stash, store it and run back to pickle farming, that is what a lot of us do in the north because running back everytime we do expedition runs, running back is a huge risk and gets annoying. Thirdly, Basically All Assault rifles are meant for PvP, It really does depend on who you are and what you like, you prefer a long range rifle with high damage and can switch to a DMR anytime, HK G3, prefer a well rounder gun for anything, M16A3, AN-94 is what I like to call a Rushdown gun, anyone who likes to run into enemy line and run into enemy cover. It does well but I've seen it do better with risktakers rather than the normal player. I have heard conflicting info about the lasers, I have heard people say they don't and then some people say they do stack. At one point someone linked a post from the devs stating they stacked but you got diminishing returns after the first one. I usually use stashes when farming Army Warehouses/Graveyard or Fools Path/Dead city just because the run back is tedious. I like the AR platform for sure but the gun I am most impressed with is the +5 SR-2M Veresk. I have found that it competes with the AS Val since the damage is high and the fire rate is also very high. Granted the range on it is less that than the Val but I have been torching people with that thing.

@@MaximumAggro The SR-2M is very nice, but prefer the VSS for PvP since it drops people a bit quicker for this version of Stalcraft, I've also seen conflicting info on lasers but after I tested it, I didn't notice a difference between one and 3, I will probably link a video of me testing it, I do remember in the Russian versions, stacking does have an effect but I didn't see it for the US versions.

Oh, for sure, the VSS will be better. But the veresk being a blue that's easy to craft makes it awesome. It's hard to test hip fire spread since the bullets do t really leave hit markers on walls like in other games. So it's hard to know for sure if the lasers are actually doing anything.

For sure, the veresk is what I recommend for earliest CQC, it sheds armor and HP. In settings on the graphic tab, there is a setting for bullet holes (scroll all the way down), it is really hard to tell though, I suggest you try and find a concrete wall in a light grey color, and stand about 10m to 20m using markers, about the range of CQC, Bullet holes despawn if you look away from even a second, so it was hard to get results from personal experiences. If your going to test it, really suggest you take a screenshot before looking, it will be hard to find bullet holes through that screenie but it is a hell of a lot better than redoing it 5 times.

subfactions can not see other subfaction death bandit can't see cov and merc, cov can't see merc and bandit and so on, same with stalkers and their respective subfactions. its kinda sad and I'm hoping the edevs can fix this in the future to where you can see the base level factions (stalker and bandit) Side note: i was on a pickle farming run when you recorded this! there would have been another stalker behind those two that you had seen while doing that proto-cluster and that would have been me. i retreated while the other two wanted to engage because i have some respect for people while they do proto clusters.

@@MaximumAggro I'm a merc now but I can attest to the fact that the more time people spend in the north, the more mercs and covs hate each other. I don't even think about stalkers anymore and I've only been up there a few weeks. That said, I have some cov friends that I talk to regularly and even did some joint ops with (out of party of course) lol

i wish i could see a session battle with it like svd had

The Sig is still a good weapon though, does a little more damage and the damage fall off is 5 meters farther.

They do offer stabilization and reduce hip-fire spread. They can actually give away your position if youre not careful though so have to be mindful

if you are ever out just for general farming go ahead and use lasers. but if you are attempting a stealth mission (maybe going player killing around a know active area) or pickle farming during a war i would not use lasers because people will be looking for them.

Again, bandits seem distinctly advantaged. We stalkers don't seem to have two nice clumps of pickle-farmable NPCs right at the northern Rostok/Bar transition.

There are a few NPC patrols that mirror the Stalker ones I was farming, they are probably always dead though since the Stalker faction has more people.

No you have almost exact samw thing. They roam at the border and then a few more stationary by the truck on the far west side too. The weird thing is i see so many stalkers trying to farm the event right next to bandit door lol. Go north exit. Other stalkers are doing it trust me

@@RahzZalinto Okay, I went and looked and could find a couple of wandering bandit groups a bit farther in, but the ones on the stalker side seem better positioned for farming because they're literally right at the zone transition line.

@@Jeff-cn9up yeah there should be similar like that on both sides. It's just sometimes they are dead already from other stalkers killing them. I typically run in the woods and avoid all combat then run in where they exactly spawn, kill, then run out. 12 pickles at a time. SOMETIMES it's more groups nearby and I'll get up to 36 but I don't bother looking if they aren't right there. 12 is plenty cuz only takes a few moments to run to base and back. Also don't forget on the way back you're invincible for like 18 seconds so i just holster my weapon and sprint 90% the way back as invincible lol.

have you got the buryat scanner yet? if your going to farm alpha fragments, you could do it far back south through scanning signals so you can also get the material needed to craft the buryat. maybe you can showcase the scanner.

What do you think of the Seer's AK? I really like it, since its essentially a fully customisable AK-103 (which is not out yet). I really wish there were more 7.62 AK platforms to built into :/ P.S. Saw you during an emission!

I like the Seekers AK, I think it sadly gets out-shined by other guns though but you can for sure make it work.

@@MaximumAggro Yes, this also happens. Knowing where it is safe and where it is not comes with experience =) In large hangars, you can simply find a place where there is no red light. But it is more difficult in houses. There you can only rely on your memory and the method of attempts and failures.

That dicken needles guy I see alot. He killed me as a duty then later tonight I saw him playing bandit. He did send my bag back at least

im beginning to think that the exosuit zombies work on having huge health pools rather than having player-like health and bullet resistance and so on because ap ammo doesnt seem to help much against them

Expanding ammo does more damage against zombies. They are considered mutants for damage type, not npcs.

I kind of got to level 7 by accident on JohnnySalami and level 6 on TonyBologna, if you are farming Dead City/Graveyard and Fools Path/Army Warehouse you rank up pretty fast.

i just farmed the undeground events on the stalker freedom side since all duty members do the ones on top so the ones undeground arent contested much and very safe. very easy gamma data fragments aswell as northern moss and caches. freedom underground i mean. getting back is just cancer though bandits always attack the chokepoint from duty base to bar through the middle its kind of a gamble

on the bandit side i felt it was kind of the same underground safe up top they all nerd the events

I would honestly just drop to bandit for now if you're still farming fools path and below to save up time. The only reason you'll need to be in a subfaction is for the northern materials and the serum weeklies and if those aren't a priority for now it's better to switch to bandit.

Yeah it sucks. I was trying to join freedom since someone was asking for a guide to the quests. Can't join them. Can't join mercs on my other bandit either lol

The reason why you can’t see certain people who died on the map is because they are bandits, covenant and mercs can’t see bandit deaths and vice versa

Just wanted to write this as I stumbled on the same point in video. Reason why that exists is so you can see only your subfaction in northern zones. Otherwise it'd be confusing and a lil bit OP if you could see different faction member's deaths up north.

This was before the big weapon rebalance a few months ago. They changed lots of guns, so some that were pink are now green, and some that were green are now pink, etc.

Ehh sometimes I do, sometimes I do the melee quick attack to run fast, sometimes I just cant be bothered lol

alot of people keep bags as trophies i have heard both stalkers and bandits say taht cause why auction or sell it when ya can keep it to memorate all the players you killed i wish they add the faction patches from OG stalker that you can turn into a dealer for trade coins that would encourage PVP and make the subfaction patches worth more than plain bandit and stalker patches Edit: you can hunt signal crates for data frags although that might be safer as a mercenary

i keep bags as well but only small ones. the big ones I like to send back but if somebody just has something like 1 blue yeast or a pickle in their bag I'll go ahead and keep that bag. the biggest bag i have is a bag with 12 rusty mold and 3 crapite XD

This was before the attachement and weapon rebalance. You can't get the handguard anymore, it comes on the certain guns automatically now.

Abakan will be better after rebalancing. You shouldn't do it now. Firing in bursts is not very comfortable and not suitable for everyone. It is very difficult to lead the target. But on the other hand, it should be done before rebalancing. Because it is either replaced by another version. Or because the price of his craft will change, but there is a high probability that there will be compensation for his craft. Compensation is usually issued in gold coins, which can then be used to buy any other barter resources. This means that it will be easier to make more expensive crafts.
