Thanks! And yeah, Apple definitely has a choke-hold on the tablet market, especially with these monstrous machines

i personal would get an M1 macbook over this i just feel that they could have used a less powerful ship in the ipad and kept it a tittle cheaper, $1800 for a tablet and then $550 for a keyboard to use with it as a laptop

Like what Apple said, they want to expand the M1 Chip in other devices so people can finally get a chance on them without buying a complete mac. However, I would just buy the M1 Air instead of the M1 iPad but it is impressive and other people might buy it

Basically ipad is changing the way people will look at tablets. Probably this m1 ipad is even faster than samsungs top tablet model. For me ipad replaced a laptop.

For me, iPad would replace a laptop if it could run full caliber Mac apps - hopefully WWDC will have something in store for us

@@RamalMedia same. I still use my mac cause of some heavy apps like imovie which runs better on mac. But light work like zoom, word,... are now done on ipad

Tomorrow tiran's birthday

This is my gaming console. IPad Pro is amazing. And great for learning languages and so much faster still than any computer. But yeah in real work it’s kind of useless compared to the M1 MacBook Air. macOS is just so much better.
