I have an M&R 8/10. It was down for a month this spring waiting for a part to be shipped from M&R. Then I called to schedule a routine maintenance. The earliest we could get a tech to come out was 3 months. Although we are outside of Boston, the nearest M&R tech is 5 hours away, and you have to pay them $75/hour for travel time. Would never buy M&R again.

Yeah man fuk them especially with the current crop of folks running things there. Rich is gone and so is the customer service etc.. Ive been involved with them and all of the M$R models over 30 years. Nuff said.

Purchase a Roq last year and it’s a love hate relationship. Registration is great, ease of use I’d give a 8/10. My issue are A: machine will stop randomly after heads come up B: I’ve literally had 5-6 bolts fall out while printing C: Pallets are not square and that’s my big issue. A design is centered and even on some and off on others. I’ve worked with many brands and IMO AWT is the best. The centurians registration is absolutely amazing but it’s takes a lot of air and hoodies are difficult because of the pallet board. Someone looking for an affordable press the M&R sportsman is a great choice and probably about $10-$15k cheaper. My roq tech was fantastic. From a customer service standpoint, everything from ordering, delivery and and tech calls has been great with roq. My only complaint is not with the purchase of the machine but aftwards my sales rep takes to long to reply when I’m looking to purchase accessories so I’ve been forced to buy thru dealers instead of my sales rep.

I love screen printing manually...learn the basic with a manual before u go spend mad money on automatic...i have never had a 10 color job.lol So i think its bs for that to be a reason for automatic press.... With manual u see soo much that i feel u cant see with automatic press....and i would love to have a partner and i go up against a manual press..i always screen print by myself..when i see people use a automatic press its usually 2 people...its the flash timing i dont get from automatic... automatic seem to have a shorter flash time..i assume most use wet paint with automatic screen printing machines..and if my orders got tooooo large i might think on automatic press..other then that i like whole process of screen printing manually..

@@anchoredprints on some level I get you...the shop I work at can afford a automatic press..I keep getting ask by my boss if I want a automatic..I always so no.. I like the workout I get from screen printing..but my arms are starting to not like screen printing..I am 51..I want to goes as long as I can with a none automatic press..and if screen printing grows to a point a automatic is needed.i will go that route..I use a vastex v2000 6 head.great wheel..have 3 tajima embroidery machines. Appreciate the reply . Have a happy new year2024..

Blue V Green argument is going to last years and years. Ford VS Ford in my and other industry Veteran opinion. Several key reasons to break away from the "Fords" and go "Lexus". 2/3 less set up time, 2/3 less pallet deflection, next to zero technician need, next to zero spare part need, next to zero mid run registration adjustments, superior flash unit tech and much easier "newbie" automatic operator training. What is the "Lexus" press line up you say?? MHM of coarse.
