M.O.M: A Comic That Doesn't Understand The Basics

Ойын-сауық

A quick video about how mother of madness by Emilia Clarke and Marguerite Bennet fails on the basics of comic making. Im not a professional and these are just my opinions. All characters, stories, and photos belong to there original creators. Please do not harass anyone mentioned (just saying just in case)

Found your Video In my recommended, I quite like the video too. As someone who is thinking about making a comic with a few friends, you bring up some solid points of what to keep track of. (I have almost no experience with doing so) Solid Video.

The following comment is largely unrelated to the topic of the video, but rather the process of your work you showed off while speaking. I just wanted to point out that I noticed you're taking quite a while with writing down your text and then editing it and all. If you've had irritation, burn outs and lack of motivation often during your work, this could be a small reason that could go under the radar: wasting time on small things. It's something artists tend to without realising it but does largely impact motivation.. I recommend trying to find if your program has the option for creating custom fonts so you'd have long term usage of certain font without having to copy and redraw it over and over, and this could also help by providing you with the built in stroke width features all art apps usually have. Even if there's lack of custom font features, I recommend at least for the outlines to check out if your bucket has expansion width setting, if it does then you could use a second layer to quickly thicken your line strokes without the need of drawing it yourself.
