@@juliettelaviet3689 it was such a random thing to do honestly. I guess they saw an opportunity because some people would just go with it based on his looks and demeanour. Just prejudice I think, but for the first few days I thought they really would succeed in ruin his career with this bullshit. And I think he was really affected too. Luckily he kept his calm and his music and talent overshadowed those stupid rumours.

they are all SO FINE like not only are they all attractive but they’re all so talented and seem like genuine kind and goofy people and THAT IS SO HOT

I too love their italian songs with my whole soul but can't we also enjoy their English bangers sometimes without the constant repetition that their Italian songs are deeper or better? It's starting to feel like a broken record in every comment section

I agree 💯👍🏽 I am american and get so sick of people wanting to hear beggin or their other English songs from the band , like guys there are other great songs that show great lyrics and a good depth of realism and poetry from the bands discography . I think you can hear a lot more raw emotions in the Italian songs as well that makes it so sensual and pure to the listener. 💖✨

great to hear how the "mammamia" chorus was meant to be replaced, but was kept in the end. Reminds me of the "mmmm mmmm" chorus by the Crash Test Dummies: Brad Roberts had meant it as a filler, but the rest of the band convinced him to keep it. It sounded perfect as it was.

I can’t get enough of this song. Knowing the message behind the lyrics makes it 100 times more loveable. ❤️ you Måneskin!

I love them so much and I love that in these genius videos about their less serious songs, even when they're having fun, they're so genuine and have something interesting to say. I wish we get to see them here again, talking about some of their Italian songs (maybe Vent'anni, my fave?🥺😍) P. S. The fact I was thinking about how Damiano dodged those lyrics and then queen Vic said it hahaha Are we connected telepathically, should we go out sometime lol (ok I'll shut up)

My fav part of the song is the bridge which gives a new appreciation in acapella. But you surely can’t expect everyone to just love you as an artist or person expressing anything. It’s rather foolish that people think anyone, strangers or media, is going to unconditionally love your expression. That’s crazier to me. Though given the time of writing right after their Eurovision win, they’re in a place of reckoning with a lot forces trying to tell them what to do, how to be, etc. since they come from a reality tv background they’re “Italy’s sweethearts” and after Eurovision, “Europe’s children.” Since the contest and reality tv are all about what you represent (country, continent), the facts of your life. The press conference is someone who doesn’t normally drink making an exception celebrating to mark a special occasion, that’s why he was drunk so quickly after just a little drink. I think that’s fairly obvious. But media is terrible and a different beast in Europe (Caroline Flack etc). Perhaps some credit can be given for their attempt at making them seem so infamous. This is their break free song lol. Don’t expect everyone to love what you have to express, it’s unrealistic, though I wonder what kind of world that would be, one of radical unconditional love acceptance.
