The BEST live performance of this Albeniz. But you cut off the end! Can you repost (please). 1000 thanks for the upload, of course! (You know you can upload entire concert in one go?)

All respect to a significant pianist of untimely early demise! I hate to be the dissonant voice amid the plethora of eulogy elicited by this performance. In my opinion there are enough aspects open to fair criticism in this rendition.. To begin with, tempo choice: snail-pace coupled with technical rigidity totally at odds with the marvelous flow in this glorious composition. The rigidity alluded to results in angular phrasing. and total absence of variety in tonal coloring. Despite being a Spaniard himself, Mr Orozco betrays a surprising lack of affinity with the Spanish idiom. Performers such as Alicia De Larrocha, Rosa Sabater, Yvonne Loriot,, Yuja Wang, Mark André Hamelin-- to name just a few-- move elegantly in Albéniz's ambience: Keeping in mind that comparison is always odious it will be interesting to listen to Mr. Orozco playing other repertory. Not all styles suit all performers.
