Cane isn’t exactly evil, he just doesn’t understand humans. As far as we know, Pomni and a few other humans, were sucked into the game, and are stuck there. But, my prediction is, Pomni isn’t just some tragic character to laugh at as a clown. She will discover some dark truth, that Cane will abstract and banish her deep in the game’s code to cover up. But, she will have somehow maintained her sanity and agency. Instead, become a demonic virus. With the cruel, merciless killing of Chara, and the sadistic, chaotic nature of Jevil, she will kill everyone as the Circus burns. Getting what she believes to be, revenge on all of them. After the game’s data is corrupted and erased by her, she will escape back into the real world. But, the damage will have been done. Twisted and with the power to feel beyond petty humanity, the story will end with Pomni becoming the monster. Destroying the world, just to rebuild it as her own twisted circus. Where humans entertain the mad jester, or die in her death games-twisted machinations that would make the likes of Jigsaw scream in horror.

One thing I love about this is not only does pomni reference IHNMAIMS, she’s becoming to act like the main character, thinking they are the only sane one, and their prisonmates need pomni/whatever his name was, being shown by line “we’re like a house of cards infact, I know they’d fall apart without me” becoming self centered in an attempt to remain sane
