Pros
- Priced perfectly for beginner pilots to try flying a drone. You won't feel too bad if you crash it into a tree or building.
- Folding drone with carrying case for portability.
- Weighs only 202 grams. This drone does not require registration or remote ID (RID) in most countries.
- Brushless motors for power, durability, and longevity.
- 7.4V 1600mah battery provides about 17 minutes of flight time. Bundled replacement battery only adds $8 to cost (Recommend getting it. You'll want it.).
- Optical flow sensor in belly. Works great for indoor automatic hovering.
- Obstacle avoidance sensors to lessen the chance of indoor crashes into walls, furniture, and/or other objects.
- GPS provides automatic hover capability outdoors, along with automatic return to home and landing ability on command, loss of signal, and low voltage.
- Camera mount with remote controlled up/down tilt capability. Camera can be rotated 180 degrees from pointed directly downward to full upward.

Cons
- Video can only be recorded to phone via WiFi. This leads to inherent WiFi problems of frame dropping and frozen frames.
- Although the RxDrone app does have advanced flight modes, they do not work well with this drone.

The governments around the world dont want us to fly drones. The laws and penalties are outrageous. Even toys needs registration for some countries.

As long as a drone maintains a good connection and doesn’t fly off it’s good one imho . When I was new and didn’t understand the cheaper ones can’t handle the wind very well up in the air . It’s how I learned to go easy and get a good feel before sending it out . Make sure it knows where home is

There were cheap GPS drones, but they were brushed motor. But they did have onboard memory card slots for recording video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iodtlcOTc6q6fps.html
Woah pusher type drone
There's not a chip shortage of they are producing cheap drones like this. Chip shortage is another excuse to raise the price on everything chip related. I'm trying to get my uncle into drones and I need to find him something good. FPV is too much for him so a good camera drone to see dear wild be great.
The cheaper ones are good to learn on imho . It takes a few weeks of practice . The 30-$50 ones don’t do well in the wind and I think the mjx bugs is super fun but too fast for a noob . They’re really fun once taught to zip them around and maintain control . I don’t care about the camera part , I like the performance drones . The camera ones basically fly themselves imo , like dji , allegedly banned 😂. Amazon didn’t get the memo cuz they’re still there

They're only banned for use in government sectors... Anyone can still buy a DJI. I fly my DJI FPV everyday and I love it 😊
You say one has to spend $100 more for a drone with decent camera. That is not true. Not anymore. This LYRC S188 is $59.00. The LYZRC L200 Pro Max is $89.99. That's only $30 more. The difference in video quality however is gigantic. The L200 has a 2-axis gimbal+EIS and records true 2k video to SD card. I know you like to review drones that look different. But you're missing out on the best bargains like the L200 Pro Max, the KFPLAN KF110 (which is pretty much the same). Or maybe the XKJ TWO or LSRC S9S if those have an SD card slot?
Love the content but is there any way you can keep the subject if the pic frame. Not sure how you're taking the vid ..head cam? Alot of garage door n concrete floor ☹️

Dear Sir, Thank you for very detailed video. How do you operate it from the phone app? I see it wifi name at the bottom of app screen however in phone WiFi settings it say "no internet connection ". Also it doesn't fly up when I slide it to the right on the screen. Feels like it has limited connection with the phone. I can fly it but with remote only. And avoidance not working too. Thank you Sir!
