Welcome to the second of 3 Lyon travel vlogs!
This is our second day in Lyon, France and we start the day with a nice breakfast to eat a delicious praline brioche (the first of many praline desserts here in Lyon as you will see). Then we visited this lovely CATHÉDRALE SAINT-JEAN BAPTISTE inside. After which we explored a bit more of Vieux Lyon before lunch. For lunch as I mentioned in the previous vlog, we booked a spot at this very rustic and cool Bouchon NOTRE MAISON. We ate many delicious dishes as you can see, and of course we had to order once again our favourite quenelle. We also tried this incredible honey beef dish that melted in my mouth. For dessert we had the praline tarte topped with creme fraiche, it was so yummy! As we (nervously) awaited the results of our covid test we visited the MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS / MUSÉE DES BEAUX-ARTS Lyon and looked at lovely art from Monet, Dumas, Picasso, Matisse, etc... It was very lovely. Finally our negative results came in and I felt so much better! We celebrated over burgers at LES FRANGINS, as Lyon is known to have a delicious burger scene. Meanwhile everyone else celebrated over Algeria winning a soccer cup! We had a lovely day, but you don't want to miss our final day in Lyon, and our last day in France coming up next!!
