    Hard to tell the transformation with no before shots, but excessive views of the chia pet dining table. Editors - We aren't here for the staging. Show the difference in before and after.

    California is worse! I've watched quite a few of Tarek's & Christina's flips. Like these ladies, they fix the things needing fixed rather than "white washing" to conceal from buyers. They however, have shameful profits much of the time. But generally they buy then fix then sell.

    I stage my own houses when they’re for sale. I started doing that in the 70s. It’s just common sense to make a house more attractive to buyers. The house next door to me, now, is on a lake with a nice lot and great view, but no one is even looking at it, because it is ridiculously out of date. Even just IKEA cabinets and fresh paint would improve it.

    I think it will be a much greater challenge in 10-20 years to redo a home built today. Cookie cutter, cheap materials, gray floors. At least these homes from the 70s-2000s have architecture and things like brick and real wood. I’m talking about todays lower end new homes and not so much real new mansions. I think HGTV will find a lot more structural issues and generally, real problems, than they ever have in todays older homes.

    I love that not a whole lot of time was shown on the rehab work, the after is what I want to see. I'm from Washington State and it would be great to know where the house is located at the beginning. The darker gray w white veins was an excellent choice for the counter tops along with the darker floors, the bidding war was inevitable!! Congrats!!

    Usually during show, location IS mentioned. I'm familiar with area as I have a friend in Everett. It's fun to see areas you recognize on HGTV shows. Christina on the Coast, Property Brothers in L.A. esp funny the recent contest in Westchester. Jets overhead 24/7 for a million dollar home. Lol.

  • @fishercourt

    @fishercourt

    10 ай бұрын

    @@katewade9992That’s wild because noise pollution from jets, would drive most humans nuts. How did it get appraised for over a million with that noise level? That seems like an inaccurate estimate that an inspector and appraiser might have inflated the price without actually being there in person. Who in their right mind would buy a home with noises of jets overhead 24/7? If a person paid over a million dollars for a home near an airport, where the noise is all day and night long, is probably someone who bought the home from far away.

    No clue what you started. Suggestion/request, respectfulky. I'm prepared to watch 10 minutes or a little more if the video is worth it. For example, seeing a slow Before, a slow After, and a before staging. I also appreciate seeing some of the tearing out, anything gutted, and the exterior work, including decks, patios, drives, sod over-growth. But, anything you show is appreciated. And finally, skipping these things ends up feeling a waste of time. Thanks ladies,!

    when they showed an owner a "compatible house"....the owners house had ONE bathrm. the compatible had TWO! thats NOT compatible in anyones real estate book. & they dont do major renos where they would add one. so thats ridiculous. everyone knows a realtor &/or a home designer in their social circle. these 2 women do nice little reno touch ups on a tight budget. its a fun show to grab a few minutes of brain rest. i can tell you, outside of a single person looking for a 1st short term home to build up from, most people at their price range insist on 2 bathrooms, with or without kids. esp at their prices, people want the luxury finishes & SPACE SPACE SPACE. but maybe their buyers are willing to live in smaller homes w/some updates. btw, where are the closets?! thats the first thing we look for after kitchens & baths. walk ins!!!!! lol..
