This isnt real. This is literally built in a video game engine to demo the idea. You can make anything work and exist in a fictional universe where real world physics do not apply. Doesnt mean it will work in real life. All this takes is a skilled animator to make all of this bs you see.

What material is the tether constructed out of? Creating a model in a video game engine doesn't test anything. Modeled in Solidworks or Fusion this fails instantly. The lynch pin drone has to be capable of structurally supporting the load on it's own, and only rely on the additional drones for thrust. Attaching 10 drones to a drone frame that can structurally support 10kg doesn't give it the ability to lift 100kg. But, individually attaching 10 drones to a 100kg load does. "a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link"

What would be the practical applications for this? How much does this improve the efficiency of drone technologies used today? More thrust? More control?
