It’s a deep complicated love story, and we are dealing with two people who fall madly in love, but are from very different pasts and different emotional foundations and with wildly different inner lives and wants. One swimming closer, one swimming away. I think that shot represents the crossroad in the relationship and the notion that no matter how much you want it to work out, the universe wants different and will throw such a heavy storm at you that you at some point you will let go of your lovers hand. Her sense of direction in her music is immpecable. You get the feeling she's in full control of her sound, it's a refined and poignant direction.

Resonated deeply with this masterpiece. Gave me closure and understanding I didn’t know I needed towards a past relationship. He was absorbed in his ways, and established in his life. The longer I was strayed the more I became an entity of his life and the more unrested my soul was. The love was intense, I didn’t even realize I began to adapt his negative qualities and his soul was staining mine. Towards the end there was a wall between our hearts and we both stayed at that window...until he grew bored of waiting at that wall wanting my light and love and I grew depressed wanting to express it to him and being unable to feel it. The very last scene is what floored me....it was the lesson I was yet to see. If it’s not good for the soul the universe will reject it, to align you on the right path and protect you. I may have been empty, drained, complacent. But the power that pushed and forced me on a different path protected me from being sucked into someone else’s darkness or “redness, that color portrayed in the video to contaminate every thing else.

It’s crazy that these themes are so common but this video in particular touched me as it just felt so familiar. The man looks like the one I’m thinking of...the shower, where we shared intimacy, the way he walked out of bed the first shot, the mountains especially....as we spent a lot of time in Colorado....I swear the last scene on that road looks so familiar, out of the depths of my memory. But I know it was just luck I found this piece of art to relate so much too. Thank you so much for creating it, I know everyone will have a different relation to it and that’s the beauty.

Nothing can touch "I Never Learn" album and her beauty those days. That's Lykke I'm gonna remember forever.

I listen to and watch this right now, in a place where I feel totally and incredibly heart broken and betrayed and don't know how to move ahead. This one, 'Sex, money, feelings die' and 'Better alone' really strike me so deep. Lykke Li, what a master mind. In this moment, although totally crushed, forever thankful.
