Painting the batters boxes like that just made it hard to watch

Hilarious video. Watched several times. I love how concerned this guy is with the conservation of the paint, and how to dispose of the can so to minimize vandalism. Isn't this a video about how to (incorrectly) paint the foul lines and batters? boxes.

totally did the first base foul line wrong!! the painted line should definitely not straddle the string line. by straddling the string line, half of the painted line is now in foul territory

Wait! “The foul line is just to give the umpire a general idea of where it is, so it doesn’t need to be perfect” Crap! I’ve been doing this all wrong by painting straight perfect lines! Thanks!

The string line should go from the apex of home plate to the outside of the foul pole. Put first base back in. The string line should be on the outside edge of first base. Remove the base. Paint the inside of the string line. The way this guy did it. He's almost 3 inches off.

Ever used paint by Pioneer Athletics? Texas Rangers and other MLB teams paint the dirt using their Max Aerosol

Terrible video. Who hand sprays in batters boxes?! Also you don't straddle the call line it is to be chalked inside the line.

So obviously, you do care about the ascetic of a field. And did u say you spot check the lines??? U should redo the lines for a new game! And u should be perfect...it's not that complicated.
