كَهَنَاتِ لَيَالِي اَلْعِيدِ فِي كَهَنَات اِزْدَهَرَتْ فِي اَلثَّمَانِينِيَّاتِ وَالتِّسْعِينِيَّاتِ حَيْثُ يَجْتَمِعُ رِجَالُ اَلْقَرْيَةِ بَعْد صَلَاةِ اَلْعِشَاءِ فِي اَلْمَرَاحْ مُرُورًا بِالْحَارَةِ حَتَّى اَلْوُصُولِ إِلَى بَابِ صَبَاحَ اَلْقَرِينِ فِي اَلشُّعْبَةِ يَرْقُصُونَ اَلزَّامِلْ مَعَ اَلطَّبْلِ وَإِطْلَاقِ اَلْبَنَادِقِ وَالِاسْتِقْرَارِ فِي اَلْمَكَانِ اَلْمَذْكُورِ بِتَنْوِيعِ تِلْكَ اَلرَّقَصَاتِ اَلْحَمَاسِيَّةِ يَبْدَأُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ أَيَّامِ اَلْعِيدِ وَيَسْتَمِرُّ أَرْبَعَ أَيَّامِ سِلْسِلَةٍ مِنْ اَلْمَشَاهِدِ وَالْمَقَاطِعِ اَلْمُتَّصِلَةِ لِتِلْكَ اَلْحِقْبَةِ
.The nights
of Eid in kahnat flourished in the 1980s and 1990s, where the men of the village would gather after the evening prayer to move through the alleys, passing by the neighborhoods until reaching the gate of Subah Al-Qarin in the Shu'ba. There, they danced the Zamil to the beat of drums, fired rifles, and settled in that place, diversifying those lively dances. This tradition began on the first day of Eid and continued for four days.
