Great video and great review. I love the LV empreinte leather. I think it’s so durable and useable. I have the pochette Metis in the same colour as this and it’s been 6 months and I also have no wear and tear. A very underrated leather in my opinion.

This is a great bag. I have it in the noir from the wild at heart collection. I can’t use it without an organiser though as it sags on the bottom if I don’t have one in the bag. I didn’t know about the yellowing … hmm.. glad I got a darker colour.

I bought mine in December and so far only the pouch is turning yellow.

I love this bag. I have it in turtledove and black. I wanted the cream but was too afraid of color transfer. This color is beautiful 😍 I'm coming back to edit this because I just remembered that I had 2 different issues with this bag. The first one I got had a circle type of thing on the bag that took a few months to appear. I later found out that it was probably an inventory tag. The second problem was that the pouch turned yellow. I was told it was probably from the glue.

Sorry to hear that happened to you too! Unfortunately the yellowing was a major problem with that bag. 😔 After this video I ended up sending my bag to Repair Services and they let me exchange it for a new one. I went for the black one instead.

Lucky you. This is my dream bag too. But remembering my first purchase , my second purchase and my third purchase wasn’t really exciting but upsetting . But still I love LV bags

hi! I did notice slight yellowing where you mentioned bring in to an LV store and they will replace for you or give you store credit for another piece, I work in LV repairs :)

@@maikel1447 oh no! Thats crazy!! They did not explicitly state to me whether the wear was normal or not, I just received a response stating that after reviewing my item a product exchange would be honored. I contacted repair services online.

First thing - take the tissue out of your canvas bag, it will aid in dehydrating the material. Use a pillow or towel. Your leather bag does have some yellowing which is oxidation from the elements. Remedies for a leather turned yellow is to make a solution by mixing lukewarm water in a few drops of Castile or liquid dish soap and some vinegar. Use a clean cotton cloth to clean.

Thanks for the tips! I have since bought pillows and use those instead. Fortunately, LV offered an exchange for the tote since the yellowing was a defect on their end.

Mine went yellow too after a couple of light uses and living in the dust bag. Very disappointing!

I heard after I publishing this video that the yellowing was due to glue leaking. If you haven’t exchanged it yet, definitely contact LV Repair Services and they should let you exchange for a new one!

I’m so sorry for the confusion … that was just me rambling on. 😆🤣 There’s absolutely no way to wear it crossbody.

My 2nd one is yellowing. My first one started yellowing and was replaced. Now my second one is yellowing.

I ended up contacting Repair Services and since they were unable to fix it I was offered a new bag. I ended up going for the black version for my replacement. If you’re looking to buy a new one I *think* they’ve resolved this issue, but I would not buy one preloved.

I have rarely used my pouch either but mine seems to be fine. I actually have an appointment with repairs services this week to discuss my bag. I honestly can’t see the yellowing in person but it is visible in the video. I will be sure to post an update!!

@@LulaWestLuxe I actually ended having a bubble appear on the turtle dove bag one day. I panicked , went to the store and theu replaced it. They couldn't understand why it happened. It was a weird defect that just came out fir no apparent reason.

I have the black Neverfull and just purchased the Cognac color and debated on the turtledove because of the yellowing I hear about. The price is great for what you get! I would love to have all three before the price increases.
