I was also reconsidering the size and structure, but mini/ micro bags are becoming less trendy and that Kelly is incredibly classy and can be worn dressed causal or dressy. thank you for this, Eileen! I love a well-thought luxury handbag collection. These days, especially because of social media, we have this idea that we must have this gigantic collection of handbags that are just not sustainable and realistic. I'm personally saving up for my first piece and watching your videos really help me narrow down the things that matter -- I'm strongly leaning toward Loewe since it's very understated and it seems practical :)

I sooooooo…appreciate this video. I have a really sincere fondness for your approach to your luxury items. I have a different budget but this video is helpful for me to see styles that could potentially be added to my collection. I saw your Balenciaga bag and it inspired me to add a Dooney Florentine micro satchel that has a casual/boho vibe to compliment my small wardrobe. So seeing everything in one video helps me refer back as I add in and determine if the styles and the function work for me, just brands in my own price range. Thank you 😊 ❤

I loveLoveLOVE your bag collection and the neutral colors are everything! These bag inserts are gorgeous and so fresh. I would love a Lady Dior just like yours and I've not given up on owning one and a Chanel Mini, Small & Medium size. I personally love the shape of Kelly, that's why I'm going to make a splurge and go for Saint Laurent's Manhattan bag that has a very similar vibe. Hermes with it's 0/5 sustainability rating is out of the question even though Kelly is something I've been thinking of a lot😉

Hey Vivian, the Lindy 26 was a lovely bag overall. I just found the colour a bit hard to style. I might have kept it if it was in black or etoupe xx

I currently have 6 bags in my collection, i would love to have a Birkin and a Kelly those are the only ones i am missing in my collection. Hopefully i get offered one soon. I Love that you only have 11 bags. I plan on having only 8 or 10 max in my collection. Love your minimalist lifestyle. I too am a minimalist and i get disoriented with too many things and too many choices.

I would keep one Birkin and one Kelly. I would also sell the LV backpack, but keep the Speedy. The Speedy was your first luxury bag, and it's timeless, so for those reasons I would keep it! Wondering your thoughts on the YSL Sac de jour bag? Did you sell your LV Alma BB in Damier Ebene?

My unsolicited opinion- I’d sell the LV tote, backpack and black Kelly 🙈. The Dior and Speedy can be the “bigger” bags- one is dressy, one casual. Keep both Chanels- the patent one has an edginess to it like the Balenciaga, and the classic flap is… a classic. It’s the shoulder bag counterpart to the black BIrkin ☺️.

Apologies if you've addressed this in a previous video, but what do you use as a handbag on a daily basis?

Great collection! Is this your whole handbag collection, or do you have other bags that are not designer? I'd be interested in seeing them, too! I love your Kelly 25, the color Gold from Hermes is so beautiful, it's the perfect camel color. I had a Garden Party 36 in this color, I loved the look of it but I rehomed it because it just wasn't practical enough in my everyday life. I like the look of a lot of the smaller Chanel flap bags, but they are way overpriced by now, and I can't wrap my head around the fact that their hardwear is no longer gold-plated. I've also heard reports of people reacting to their Chanel costume jewelry, for someone with a severe nickel allergy, that's really a no go when even H&M can manage to make allergy-friendly pieces for 1% of the Chanel price, so I will stay away 😕

I have close to 20 designer handbags. I sometimes think of the top 5. I have always thought that by choosing 20, I would never have known which bags I prefer over the others. Now that I have had time to use all of them, I would be in a better position to choose from experience. I bet you feel the same way. Maybe I will eventually downsize.

Hello, do you feel the patent bag is hard to keep well? I found some people's patent bag is sticky in its surface and can never be reversed. How many years have you bought that bag and do you use it often? I'm thinking of selling my mini 20cm patent leather bag. Are these ALL your bags? Impressive downsize if it is! I’m trying to downsize more since I now have 15 bags (including canvas totes and hiking backpacks) and the huge number is daunting but I can’t seem to let go of anything else at this point as I really use all of them… each has a purpose and even thinking of styles I’m missing

I have a few Chanel mini in classic and 2.55 mini reissue, they are different design and most are black. I'm planning to let go some but afraid I will be regret for selling it. The most used mini is not the classic one. Shall I still keep it or how I sell it without regret ?

I work for non profits and will never own an Hermes bag, so take my onion with a grain of salt. After seeing the second Kelly, I would sell the black one. The camel colored one in my opinion, highlights the style of the and distinguishes it from the Birkin. I am not sure the slightly larger size is all that different in terms of use. Obviously in terms of investment it can never hurt to hold onto it

Do you prefer Kelly Togo or sellier?

Hello Catherine! Thank you very much for that. If we may answer regarding the weight, our inserts are light! For instance, the ones for Birkin/Kelly 25-28 weigh no more than 125 g.

Sell the black Kelly and replace it with something more colorful and joyful, since the rest of your collection is quite monotone. I can see why you love the Balenciaga City so much. Its my fav in you collection.

Although I could have possibly gotten more by waiting, my approach was to sell while interest is still high. If luxury loses its luster in the coming years or if the economy forces more people to sell their bags, and there is an increase in supply, you may have missed an opportunity. Just food for thought.

Lovely collection but I really would not call this minimalist. I suppose it is all relative.

Incredible. Those Hermes bags are thousands of dollars and on top of that you’d have to buy inserts?? Those bags don’t have straps, or when they do, they pull from the top, so you can’t leave it open. Just seems ridiculous, it has to be purely psychological to own these, no matter how well made or beautiful they are, right? Or what am I missing?

Valid points! When I first embarked on minimalism, I felt exactly the same and wanted to remove anything that’s remotely impractical. I think I’ve found a healthy balance (for me) now. Rather than selling and buying, I’m hoping to make use of what I already have, but sometimes that requires me to get small accessories to make them work better. It’s still cheaper than getting a new bag but luckily I haven’t bought one in nearly 3 years xx

Sell those expensive bag,and give the money to charity.
