Great vlog! Thank you! I was actually at Narrabeen Lagoon around 5 months ago kayaking with my family. We have a lot of great days but that day was one of your finest. We saw pelicans, Australasian Darters, Australian King Parrots and several lizards and then we visited that fancy, slightly tacky Gallopoli RSL which we both liked a lot after our trip.

Sounds lovely! I've never been kayaking there but should do one day. I haven't heard of that RSL actually!

For any book or any other diary entries on your experience, sign me up to purchase it right away! I would love to read it! I'm glad you could see the good side of your capabilities after hearing about that book. Thanks for informing me about the audio books from the library you can borrow. I never knew about that though I sometimes borrow traditional books. Looks like the spa was an elaborate April fools day joke. 😄 I love all your stories and interactions with the pets. Such a pleasure! Thank you! :)

Thanks Marta. I did start writing a travel-themed novel and learning a lot about writing before I moved to Australia, but I never finished it. I'm quite serious about the memoir though and am in the planning stages! It's been a dream for a long time to write a book. Glad you enjoyed the vlog.

Any chance you can tell me which vlogs you watch? I think there might be a gold mine there. ;) In all seriousness, I am unlikely to enjoy them as much as your vlogs.

Aw thanks. Here are my faves: Niomi Smart, Victoria (In the Frow), Zanna van Dijk, Georgie Stevenson (though I mainly listen to her podcast - Rise & Conquer), Elsa's Wholesome Life, Backpacking Bananas (travel vlogs). I also like By Sanjna and Sugar Mamma, both in Sydney but more personal finance/lifestyle than vlogs. Guilty pleasure is Whitney Port reacting to reality tv shows! Let me know yours too! I'm always looking for more.

@@dreamingofdownunder Thank you so much for sharing this. So awesome to share what you are watching. :) I've had a run through all channels except for Whitney Port (though I will look later) and so far my favourites are Backpacking Bananas followed by Zanna van Dijk.. It is mainly to do with what my interests are and personal outlook.. I generally like traveling vlogs the most on the cheaper side, hiking, active outdoors life. Those two channels I could see myself watching again and again. Again not to pucker up but I was right that I much prefer your channel. :)

@@dreamingofdownunder I am about to go out for the day with my son but I will be back with a thoughtful list of vlogs soon. :) I would love to share even if that don't really spark your fancy. How was your new year period?

Back again with some vlogs I watch... That Lviv Girl, Alina McLeod, Backyard Russia (A very Australian family from WA living in Siberia, not political), Homemade Wanderlust, Kate Graock. I also like live stream walks such as Follow My Travels though I think that is a very niche interest. :) I won't be surprised if nothing from my list tickles your interest, really. If you wondering where the connection with these channels and yours is, I think it is just that I feel you are down to earth, genuine, unique, you go your own way and I personally connect and like you as a person (I know that is only through a certain scope but I think we always like the people we look forward to and want to watch daily as otherwise we wouldn't be tuning in). :))

Sorry, I've only just seen your reply! Thanks for sharing these channels Marta. I will take a look. Backpacking Bananas and Zanna Van Dijk are both really down to earth, so I'm not surprised you liked those. Most of the others I watch because I like seeing successful women in the blogging/creator industry. Despite how many KZreadrs there are, I find it's still quite hard to find channels I really like!
