Very expensive. I'm glad my friend fronted the bill lmao. To be honest, I'm going to return to try out a standard steak and get another round of those french onion soup dumplings sometime in the future. The skirt steak frites is $55 which I think is pretty reasonable for a steakhouse at Caesar's Palace. And there's just no way I'll never have those dumplings again in my lifetime. But certainly not for everyone. Thanks for watching!

Great review. I see many people talking about the price but if you’re gonna go out and pay $700 for a meal this is the kind of experience you’d expect. Not a weekly or even monthly kind of place but a once in a lifetime have to try kind of place. Great review.

That's a fair point, it was quite loud inside but my friend and I were able to converse pretty easily so I guess I didn't notice it as much while we were there. But definitely my meal and new restaurant of the year so far. There's still some new eateries opening this year that could take the crown but right now, Stanton Social Prime reigns supreme for 2023. Yes, the super tomahawk comes with the ribeye itself as well as sake braised short ribs which I didn't actually try until I got home and realized it was a completely different cut altogether. Glad you enjoy my descriptions! Thank you for watching!

I do the same with many channels also! I'm so lucky to live in Vegas and have access to these amazing restaurants without having to incur additional fees for travel and lodging. It makes a Vegas focused channel like mine so much more possible to only worry about the food costs. Honestly, I'm happy you're able to live vicariously through me and the videos if this, or any place I film, is a restaurant you won't be able to visit. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for taking us along Shin on what appeared to be a one-of-kind over the top experience haha! That being said, some random comments from me: (1) The tomahawk steak looked overcooked (maybe it was the lighting (2) I really dislike it when steakhouse slice the steak for you. If I’m paying 375 dollars for steak (out of my price range, but if I ever did LOL) I want to have the privilege of slicing my steak myself (3) The cognac flambé was over the top and excellent showmanship but I query whether it added anything constructive culinary-wise lol (4) 700 bucks for the meal? I remember you did a video on Imperial Buffet and one on Ellis Island prime rib. For 700 bucks one could have around 20 meals at Imperial Buffet and around 25-30 prime rib dinners at Ellis Island. I think I’ll go with 20 meals at Imperial or 25-30 prime rib dinners at Ellis Island LOL. That being said, people should spend money on what makes them happy so to each their own :) Anyway - great video Shin and congrats on your friend’s promotion

Thanks Norman! I had the meal of my year so far and I don't know what restaurants I have on my schedule that is going to top the meal I had here. To answer some of your other comments: (1) - It was the lighting for sure. It was perfectly medium rare. I actually brought a ring light with me this time, but I forgot to charge it so I couldn't use it. Amateur hour over here lol. (2) - That's a fair criticism. I'm not sure where I stand on it. As long as the steak has had proper time to rest post cook and reabsorb its juices, then I'm usually fine either way. (3) It adds a very faint woodsy note. Certainly more for show I'd say (4) Totally agree. This is not a, "I'm hungry, what are you feeling like eating today?" kind of restaurant for sure. But damn did I really enjoy myself, and thankfully my friend does very well for herself. She didn't even blink when she saw the bill. Thanks for watching!

Clearly you miss the point of the video and this restaurant, of course a $700 meal is for everyone and of course there are other things you can do with the money.

Beautiful decor but louder than a high school cafeteria. Can’t see many marriage proposals happening there. Anyone know what restaurant this replaced? Thanks for taking us along, without having to pretend reach for the check.

You know what's funny? My friend and I had no problems conversing inside so I didn't really notice the noise levels until I started editing the video. Made me think how I didn't notice inside. The meal itself looked really good. The flash that was paid for didn't so much. The Cognac flambe is like a 1900's microwave to reheat your steak. Was kind of a good show, tho she could have done better, looked like she was new to it. Lobster mac-n-cheese in my opinion is a disservice to lobster fishermen. Lobster isn't meant to be eaten in anything other than lobster (maybe drawn butter). Can't believe how loud it was in there. Sounded like you were eating in the casino beside the craps tables. Those mushrooms looked delicious as did the steak! Dessert looked amazing! All-in-all 7 hundo was too much for what you ate, even in Vegas, but I understand there's an upcharge for the name. And if I wasn't paying, I'd be good with it 🤣🤣🤣

Haven't had a flambe steak like that before. It was certainly cool to look at, and I couldn't tell if she was skilled or not since I don't have a point of reference. Though I do also think straight lobster and butter are optimal, I'll take lobster prepared just about any way lol. I will agree, that it was quite loud but oddly enough, I felt like my friend and I conversed fine inside. And yeah, the desserts were actually something special. We were there prime time last Saturday night for dinner and you can see in the video that the menu had the tomahawk priced at $375. The restaurant had been opened for about 2 weeks by the time I made my visit for this video so maybe they lowered the price since launching? I have no clue. Thanks for watching!

You're friend's shoes got my loins interested, the French Onion dish warmed my nether regions, the Tomahawk steak made my ni**les stand up, the dirty tots carried me through the ride, the mac and cheese gave me time to finish my grocery list and the mushrooms finished me off. Nap time now.

To be fully transparent, the $375 comes with the ribeye, some sake braised short ribs that I did not realize were on the board until I got home with leftovers, the cognac drippings, and the two bones of marrow. That said, still incredibly expensive. Certainly is nice to have friends who don't even blink at the price. I'll still personally return but I'll probably have the $55 steak frites and I have to get those French onion soup dumplings again at some point in my life. Thanks for watching!

That is odd now that you mention it. With the popularity of rib caps nowadays I would have thought a steakhouse like Stanton Social Prime would have it on the menu. But I'll take that super tomahawk over a standard rib cap any day. You know what's funny, I was giving some pretty serious thought to the key lime pie at the restaurant, but when I visit some place new, I typically end up trying whatever they're known for. I was not disappointed this time. But next time I visit I'll probably try the key lime pie. Thanks for watching Anthony!
